00:09And I'm Bethany.
00:10Today we're going to make a rose out of hair.
00:12It's inspired by the latest Rodarte Runway Show, and it's easier than it looks.
00:16Take a portion of the front of your hair and braid, directing it away from your face.
00:22Braid about 3 quarters of the way down the hair, or about 4 inches, and tie with an elastic.
00:27Repeat on the other side.
00:29Don't worry if there's some pieces falling out.
00:32We want it to be loose and easy looking.
00:34Now with the remaining part of the braid, we're going to wrap it around a curling iron.
00:39This is the part of the hair we're going to make the rose out of.
00:42Do the same thing on the other side.
00:44Now we're going to attach the braids to each other at the back of the head.
00:49Use an elastic.
00:50Now we're going to make the rose.
00:52So with the two ends, we're going to coil them around our finger in the direction of the curl.
01:00This is going to give us a rose shape.
01:04Now we're going to spray the rose.
01:07We're using Kyrastos Double Force because it's pretty strong.
01:11Then we're going to take straight pins to secure the rose.
01:15So now directly below the rose, we're going to take a little section of hair and make one more braid.
01:22Finish this braid with another elastic.
01:25For the final step, we're going to go through and make it all loose and easy looking.
01:31So we're going to loosen the braids.
01:33We're going to pull down a couple pieces around the face.
01:36Just rough it up a little bit.
01:39It's a little edgy.
01:40It's a little boho like a rocker's girlfriend.
