00:03But perhaps you forgot another important detail. Without us, yeah, the football and MMA loving
00:08deplorables you look down on, you would have no one watching your arts. Get that?
00:13You missed the larger points. It was a speech about respect. It was a speech about empathy,
00:17and most importantly, it was a speech about responsibility.
00:27There are some days when I myself think I'm overrated.
00:31What? What did you just say? Meryl Streep overrated? Have you seen Sophie's Choice? Have you seen the
00:40French Lieutenant's woman? Have you seen that one with the dead people that she's even funny in that
00:46one? I thought that she said what she said beautifully. It was really about love and
00:51empathy, and I've been traveling the country talking about how can we have conversations
00:55in this country with more love and more empathy, and that's what Meryl Streep was talking about.
01:00If there's one thing truly in the world that we know it's not true, it's that Meryl Streep
01:06is overrated. The last thing in the world I expect is an uppity 80-year-old lady to be in
01:11our demographic and love mixed martial arts. And she has taken a leadership role, and I welcome it.
01:24Meryl Streep could play Batman and be the right choice. She's perfection.
01:28Calling Meryl Streep overrated? No.
