02:07Although the 29-year-old reality star attempted to keep Galanis out of the spotlight,
02:12he previously made headlines when President Donald Trump commuted his prison sentence in March 2025.
02:18But it seems like her new beau has quite the colorful past.
02:22So, who is Jason Galanis?
02:25Here's everything you need to know.
02:26In September 2020, he was sentenced to more than 14 years in prison for his role in two schemes,
02:33including one that defrauded a Native American tribe and investors out of tens of millions of dollars.
02:38In addition to prison time, Galanis, who was once dubbed Porn's New King,
02:43was ordered to forfeit about $80 million in proceeds and pay an equal amount in restitution.
02:49Galanis was an associate of Hunter Biden,
02:51who testified in the Republican impeachment inquiry into former President Joe Biden in March 2024,
02:57while he was still behind bars.
02:59Although the White House did not explain the rationale for granting clemency to Galanis,
03:04Trump's order absolved him of the financial penalties,
03:07as well as having to serve the remainder of his prison time.
03:10Notably, Savannah's parents, Todd and Julie Chrisley,
03:13were also pardoned by Trump in May 2025.
03:16Although it's unclear how Savannah and Galanis met,
03:20Savannah became involved in Trump's 2024 presidential campaign,
03:24largely through her fight to get her parents released from prison.
03:27Also, the two have actually been engaged since December 2025.
