00:01It's who I am and I'm not going to change it because one person tells me I look bad.
00:07Because I know I don't look bad, I know I look great.
00:11That's how I feel.
00:12So if I think I look good then who cares what other people think.
00:43Yesterday was the first time I played drums.
00:46It felt exciting and loud.
00:51I've actually always been interested in drums.
00:54There's this band called Skillet and there's a great girl drummer and that's what inspired me.
01:00That's why I wanted to become a girl drummer.
01:09I play music because it makes me feel powerful.
01:13It makes me feel like I never feel discouraged about it.
01:18And it's always something that's been just my favorite thing to do.
01:26When I play the drums it makes me feel like I'm letting out my feelings.
01:32And if I'm angry or something I play the drums and it just makes me feel better.
01:40I think it kind of makes you feel powerful too because you're like strumming and you're like oh I made
01:43that noise.
01:44Like you know that's me.
01:45And it's like a good feeling.
01:47Your arms may start hurting or you may be getting tired but you don't want to stop just because it
01:52gives you that little high of being a drummer.
01:59When I solo on guitar I'm in another world.
02:03And it's amazing.
02:04So whenever you're having kind of a bad day in this world you can go to another one and just
02:08completely be okay.
02:09It's awesome.
02:51The girls here they're always so supportive and the older girls they really help with the people who it's their
02:58first year, second year or something.
03:01Yeah and I think like because we've all like been there you know our first year and it's like they
03:04know like we all get it I guess.
03:06You know we all have like the same sense of like oh like this is what it's like to be
03:09like a girl in like you know this world.
03:17I'm the most youngest child here and I play guitar.
03:24At first I barely knew guitar.
03:26Now I know much more than I used to.
03:34I haven't really played bass before so people tell me that I'm really good at it so that's awesome.
03:38I'm really happy here I don't think I've ever been this happy before which is really cool.
03:45We're doing a lot of fun stuff we're doing a lot of hard stuff so everyone has to collaborate together
03:48ideas and you know everybody's trying to make something that they want to create and make take this idea and
03:55bring it to life and it's really hard and you need to collaborate with a lot of other people to
04:00make this idea a reality.
04:05No one here judges you it's rocking so you don't get judged.
04:18Let's do it.
04:35I started songwriting probably in first grade, and, well, I wasn't really good at songwriting
04:42then.
04:43I had this, there was this song that I first came up with, and it changed topics, like
04:48every two sentences about butterflies, and then spring, and then clouds.
04:52Then I actually wrote my first good song in second grade, called Running Away.
04:57I mean, it's not that good, but it was really good for a second grader, I guess.
05:13I have this really cool denim vest that I put patches all over, so it has my band
05:17patch, and it has this one that has a piece of pizza on it, and it says, pizza, not patriarchy.
05:24And then I have another one that says, girl power.
05:27Some girls feel that they need to look like the people on the covers of Sports Illustrated
05:34magazines, but I personally think that you don't need to look like anybody, you're fine the
05:44way you are.
05:45Because there's girls in there that dress preppy and have long hair, and then there's
05:51girls in there that wear, like, jeans and t-shirts and have short hair.
05:54I don't really see a difference.
05:56Beauty for me is your attitude and your personality and the way you look at things.
06:01Like pretty, you look pretty today, like, I love your outfit, thanks, you know, I tried.
06:06But when you're beautiful, you are beautiful on the inside and out.
06:12I mean, like, they love you for who you are, and it's just amazing, so it makes me cry sometimes.
06:18I hope you realize that I know I'm not worthless, and I will not like how you treated me, ruin
06:24the rest of my life.
06:26I grew up hoping to be that pretty girl, and then, you know, I came to 16, and I'm just
06:32like, oh, I'm a manly girl, you know, I'm very different from everyone else, and, you
06:39know, when that changes, especially in yourself, you realize that you're beautiful, because you
06:44realize it's not just the outward appearance that you have, it's about how you feel about
06:50yourself and how you act about yourself and how you treat yourself.
06:54We are powerful, just try and stop us.
06:59We are powerful, just give us a chance.
07:04People leave and win its rights.
07:07Why do we get lower than 10 to 10 to 10 to 10 to 10?
07:11Welcome to our 10.
07:14We are powerful, just try and stop us.
07:20We are powerful, just give us a chance.
07:25We are powerful, just try and stop us.
07:30We are powerful, just give us a chance.
07:37красота.
07:53Everyone is powerful, just try and drive, just try and drive, you want to come across.
07:54Hello, everyone.
07:54You
