00:00We want to live in a beautiful world.
00:03Just outside the walls of the Republican National Convention,
00:06protesters built a different kind of wall.
00:09We're here to present Trump with this wall that he's been demanding for,
00:12but we're not going to give it to him at the border.
00:14We're going to give it to him outside of the convention
00:16to really close in all of his hate that he's been giving to our communities.
00:20What we are here to do is denounce Trump's hate,
00:23to denounce his messages of separation,
00:25his divisive words against people of color.
00:28And as you can see, this fabric is a representation of humanity.
00:31We are interwoman, we cannot be separated from society.
00:35It's over 11 million people that are undocumented that he has talked about.
00:39We are somebody, and we deserve somebody.
00:46This wall today is symbolic,
00:49but what we're looking is for people to do this in their own homes.
00:53World of Trump!
00:54World of Trump!
00:57World of Trump!
00:59World of Trump!
01:01My name is Michael Marion.
01:02I'm a U.S. Army veteran, and I'm standing here in solidarity with Wall of Trump.
01:09I think that Trump's hate rhetoric is dividing the country even more than it is,
01:14and his use of veterans as props is unacceptable.
01:18People behind me are chatting.
01:20The walls that they build to tear us apart will never be as strong as the walls of our heart,
01:24and that really symbolizes why we're here today.
01:26We're out here on the streets because people are power.
01:29We don't wear suits out in that convention,
01:31but we do make the decisions out here.
01:34So we're out here to show our power.
01:35everyone is innocent of harm.
01:38You don't have to fight back!
01:42Stand that way back!
