00:00So I was 7 years old and I was having a sleepover with a bunch of girls from
00:04school who all lived in my neighborhood. It was a totally normal sleepover. We
00:09were fighting over which member of NSYNC would be our boyfriend. We were
00:13fighting over which Spice Girl would be if we were Spice Girls. We had a pillow
00:17fight. We ate popcorn, watched a movie, and then started to fall asleep. Around
00:243 a.m. I woke up. My sleepy brain saw a lobster crawling up my blanket. So it was
00:38coming for me and it had its claws out and it was ready to pinch and so I
00:42screamed lobster at the top of my lungs. As soon as the words left my mouth I
00:48realized my mistake. My friends of course woke up. They were crying, screaming, so
00:54confused, had no idea what was going on. I was already apologizing. I was so
01:00mortified even before my friend's mom walked in. She went over to comfort her
01:04daughter and looked at me, sighed, and said, I think it's best if you leave.
01:10Remember it's 3 in the morning and I'm 7. Luckily I lived right across the street
01:17and my mom was really sensitive to the sound of the doorbell even when she was
01:21asleep. I was mortified. I went right to my room and I lay awake the entire night
01:26just so embarrassed by my mistake. The girls at school called me lobster lady for
01:32two weeks until I redeemed myself at our next sleepover.
