00:00Hey guys, it's me Anne, and this is Beauty With Me.
00:032017 was pretty wild.
00:05I moved to a new apartment, I adopted a cat, I tested deodorant and proved to the world
00:10that I'm really not good at math, and I tested tons of new makeup trends.
00:16In this episode, I'm going to take a look back and share with you guys my favorite products
00:21from the year.
00:21First things first skincare, which I've actually already done today, but I'm going to tell
00:26you about it anyway.
00:26By the way, my favorite cleanser is called the Katrudu Cocoa Honey Papaya Enzymes Cleanser.
00:33It smells like fruity honey.
00:37I love honey.
00:38Honey is great because it's antibacterial, and there's papaya enzymes and fruit enzymes in
00:42here that are good for gentle exfoliation, so I love using this in the morning, and I also
00:46use it at night, so it's just my all-around cleanser.
00:49Next up on the skincare front is this mask by Rene Rouleau.
00:53And last week, I put up a video where I got a facial from Renee, and if you watch that

01:00you know that I'm like obsessed with her, and her product line is amazing.
01:04So she gave me this mask, but I've actually used it before, and it is just really good.
01:10It's called Rapid Response Detox Mask.
01:12It has a golden kind of gel texture, and it's designed specifically to prevent breakouts.
01:22Moving on to makeup, I'm actually going to put it on my face as I talk about them, so
01:26it's kind of like a mini favorites video, and a get ready with me.
01:30It's a two-in-one!
01:31First up is foundation, and I have here the Estee Lauder Double Wear Nude Cushion Stick
01:37Radiant Makeup.
01:38It's part of the Double Wear line, so it is very long-lasting.
01:41Because it's a cushion, radiant formula, it doesn't look super drying or cakey on the skin.
01:47This is the next product.
01:49It is amazing.
01:51It's called the IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Breakout Full Coverage Treatment Concealer.
01:55It is designed to be good for people with acne, but what I love about it, and I talk about
02:01this to everybody, is it has this beautiful finish.
02:06I will literally forget that I'm wearing it.
02:08I can touch my face, and it's not going to come off my hands.
02:11It's just beautiful.
02:12It makes your skin look really nice.
02:13It doesn't look drying at all like a lot of other acne concealers do.
02:18I'm going to focus it on the areas that I'm breaking out, which is around my cheeks.
02:23I'm going to put it around my nose, a little bit under my eyes.
02:25It's a really good all-around concealer, in my opinion.
02:28Next up is powder.
02:30It is also from IT Cosmetics.
02:31It's the Bye Bye Breakout powder from the same line as the concealer that I love.
02:36It's a really good powder.
02:38It keeps my oil controlled throughout the day.
02:40I usually will take a little bit onto a fluffy brush, dab it onto my cheeks, set the areas
02:45where I concealed my pimples, get my T-zone, and then dust off all the excess.
02:50Next up is bronzer, and my favorite one is this one from Han.
02:55It's called the Malibu bronzer.
02:57I like it because it's natural.
02:59The first ingredient is rice powder.
03:00It has cocoa powder in it.
03:02It smells like chocolate.
03:03It's just really good and a pleasure to apply.
03:07Moving on to blush.
03:11I recently discovered artist color powders for Makeup Forever, so you can choose whatever
03:18you want.
03:18Basically, they have a bunch of bronzers.
03:20They have a bunch of blushes.
03:21They have a bunch of highlighters.
03:22You can create your own trio.
03:23You can just take a single.
03:24If you've ever tried Makeup Forever's HD powder, it has this really nice slick feeling.
03:32These powders are kind of like that.
03:33I like that this rosy shade goes on my face very evenly.
03:39I don't put on a lot of blush, but I just feel like it makes me look more alive.
03:43Next up is the moment you might have been waiting for.
03:48I definitely have.
03:49It's the highlighter.
03:50I actually have two that I'm going to show you guys today.
03:53They're in different formulas though, so I feel like it counts.
03:56They both count as my favorite highlighters.
03:58So first up is this from Milk.
04:03It's called the Holographic Stick in the color Mars.
04:08It is so beautiful.
04:10It's this duochrome peachy highlighter that has a pink shift.
04:17This is my powder highlighter favorite.
04:19It's from Wet n Wild.
04:21It's called the Mega Glow Highlighting Powder.
04:23This one is Golden Flower Crown.
04:25These are just really, really solid, great highlighters.
04:29So if you're looking for something that's pretty affordable, but really packs a punch
04:33and comes in like a ton of really amazing colors, these ones are amazing.
04:37You can use it on the eyes.
04:38You can put it on your cupid's bow.
04:40It's just like a really lovely, all around, just like really good highlighter.
04:44Next up is eyeshadow, and I have a palette here that you may recognize from another video.
04:50It is the Huda Beauty Desert Dusk Palette.
04:53I tried this palette for the first time in one of my previous eyeshadow palette videos.
04:58I did a look with it, and I was so impressed with this palette.
05:01It is beautiful.
05:02It has these beautiful, like rusty shades.
05:04I love this burnt orange shade right here, and it has a lot of beautiful mattes.
05:09This Eden color, this peach is beautiful as well, and it also has really interesting shades.
05:15This Cosmo color is literally just straight up glitter.
05:18It's just a very versatile palette.
05:20You can go glittery with it.
05:21You can go matte.
05:22You can go natural.
05:23So I'm going to do a look with this palette, but I'm going to use one of my other favorites,
05:27so I'm going to talk to you about that first.
05:33This is a glitter from Lemonhead L.A. It is so beautiful.
05:40Like, I never thought that I would be so excited about a pot of glitter.
05:44This stuff makes using glitter so easy.
05:47So I'm going to use this, but I'm going to lay down a base with my Huda palette.
05:52So I'm going to go all over the lid in kind of a cat eye graphic shape using this matte
05:59purple shade called Amethyst.
06:03I'm going to put on Space Jam, going for this really glittery eye.
06:07So when I'm going for a graphic shape, I like to use this with a brush.
06:13I brought the glitter up to my crease, but not over where I put the purple eyeshadow,
06:18so it kind of looks like the shadow is outlining my glitter.
06:22And that's the eyeshadow done, folks.
06:25Next up, I'm going to talk to you about eyeliner, and I'm a very big eyeliner person.
06:29I wear a cat eye pretty much every single day if I'm not doing something crazy with my eyeshadow.
06:34And my favorite one is actually this one from DHC.
06:38It's called the DHC Liquid Liner.
06:41It's from a Japanese brand.
06:42And what I love about it is the brush.
06:46It has the most amazing brush tip with, like, actual little hairs that the liquid comes out of.
06:56And it just makes the most beautiful strokes.
07:02It's amazing.
07:03But I know this one is a little bit hard to get a hold of.
07:05You can only get it online.
07:06So I also adore the classic Kat Von D Tattoo Liner.
07:13Like the DHC Liner, the Kat Von D one has a brush tip as well.
07:17Also very fine.
07:19Look at that.
07:23I'm just going to very, very slightly line my eyes just to define my lashes a little bit more.
07:30The teeny tiny little brush tip makes it really easy to get in between your eyelashes.
07:36And I'm going to go in with some mascara.
07:38And this one by L'Oreal, it's called the Lash Paradise Mascara, is my favorite.
07:43I only wear it in the waterproof formula.
07:45But if you guys aren't into that, the regular formula is really good too.
07:48I love this one because it has a really great volumizing formula.
07:52The brush is super thick.
07:54It's just a lovely mascara.
07:56Eyes done, but I have one more eyeshadow that I want to share with you guys.
08:02I wear it all the time, but for the sake of this video, I didn't use them.
08:06But these are the L'Oreal infallible paints.
08:09I actually did a look for my Instagram where I use these.
08:15And I'll use this beautiful baby blue all over my lid in the same kind of winged out shape.
08:20And then I'll put a little bit of black eyeliner, mascara, and that is my look.
08:24So we are on to the final makeup product.
08:27The category is lipstick, but I actually have three that I want to show you
08:31because I love lipstick and I couldn't just choose one.
08:33So I'm going to start with the drugstore option, which is this lipstick from Maybelline.
08:39It's actually the entire line, the Loaded Bold.
08:41This is my favorite shade.
08:43It's called Dynamite Red.
08:45It's a really, really beautiful classic red shade.
08:49It's matte, but it's not drying.
08:51You put it on, it feels like almost like lip balm.
08:54It dries down matte, and then it wears really evenly throughout the day.
08:57Look at it. It's so pigmented.
09:00So nice.
09:01Next up, NARS launched these Power Matte Lip Pigments.
09:05I actually did a video on them.
09:07They lasted so long.
09:10I was floored.
09:12How's your lipstick holding up?
09:13What do you think?
09:15It's pretty incredible.
09:16It's still there.
09:17Really good, last forever.
09:19Don't feel like they're going to suck the life out of your lips.
09:22It's all around really good liquid lipsticks.
09:24Final favorite is this lip magnet from Giorgio Armani.
09:28This is a pricey lipstick, but it is ridiculously smooth.
09:35The applicator is really great for getting all around the lips, getting full pigment right away.
09:39It just feels light as air.
09:41It's like a second skin on your lips.
09:43So this is the makeup look done, and I'm going to move on to hair.
09:47First product is this straightener from Bio Ionic.
09:51It is a one-inch straightener.
09:54It has a nice tapered side right here, so it's easy to curl and straighten with it.
09:58So what I do when I curl it, I'll take little sections of my hair, starting in the bath,
10:03and curl down and up in kind of a zigzag motion.
10:07So once my hair is sufficiently wavy, I will go in with the texturizer,
10:11and I've been loving this one by VIRB.
10:14If you put it into your hair after you've curled it, and it gives this beautiful beachiness to it.
10:18If you put it in straight hair, like the texture of my hair before I curled it,
10:23it'll give you a little bit of pieciness, a little bit of texture, but it won't create curls by any
10:28means.
10:29Overall, I love it as a finishing product after I style.
10:3210 out of 10 would recommend to a friend.

10:40That's just everything that I've personally loved this year.
