00:00And the Golden Globe goes to Frances McDermott.
00:46Well, I have a few things to say.
00:49I'm going to keep it short because we've been here a long time and we need some tequila.
00:53All you ladies in this category, bar tequila's on me.
00:59Thank you to the Hollywood Foreign Press.
01:01I'm still not quite sure who they are when I run into them for the last 35 years, but
01:07I love seeing their faces.
01:08And let's face it, they managed to elect a female president.
01:16I'm just saying.
01:21Martin McDonough, you know how I feel about being your Mildred Hayes.
01:26Her every ragged inhalation and fierce exhalation is evidence of my gratitude.
01:35Our producer, Graham Broadbent, thank you for listening to me and valuing my input.
01:41To Fox 34, who allowed our film to find its audience, and we are still putting people in
01:48the seats of brick-and-mortar cinemas around the country.
01:51Call me old-fashioned, but I love that.
02:00And if I mention my two favorite Cowboys, Sam and Woody, because they are, then I will
02:06have to list the entire cast and crew of our film because everybody brought their best game
02:12to this one.
02:13Their very best game.
02:14For instance, I cannot throw a baseball for shite from one building to another across a
02:22two-lane street.
02:24That was really fun, but don't try it at home.
02:28So many of you know, I keep my politics private, but it was really great to be in this room
02:35tonight
02:36and to be a part of the tectonic in our industry's power structure.
02:44Trust me, the women in this room tonight are not here for the food.
02:51We are here for the work.
