00:00We should be celebrating Black History Month 365 days, every freaking day, and it's very
00:07simple.
00:08All you have to do is wake up, look in the mirror, and acknowledge your beauty.
00:13Personally, I'm a firm believer in Black history being American history.
00:17We spend so much time in American schools learning about colonialism and what they did
00:23in the 1800s, and when I say they, I mean white people.
00:26And we should learn that stuff, but you know what would be so cool, learning about Black
00:31people, particularly Black women who did incredible things in our history as well.
00:35Because Black people make contributions to society every day and have been for the past
00:40a million bajillion years.
00:42Prominent leaders, actors, musicians, entrepreneurs, technicians, we do every and anything.
00:49And guess what?
00:50We're amazing at it.
00:51We need to spend the right amount of time and the fair amount of time to learn about every
00:56thing that we do.
00:58And trust, it's a lot.
