00:02I don't know about you, but my routine changes a little bit from season to season.
00:07So I'm going to be showing you my summer skincare and my summer makeup routine.
00:12Obviously, my makeup changes from day to day. I'm obsessed with makeup. I have like a whole drawer unit full
00:17of it.
00:19But this is a look that I've been wearing a lot lately.
00:22So depending on how my skin is feeling that day, I will use one of two toners.
00:26The first of which is this Trader Joe's Rose Water Toner.
00:29I like it because it has a nice fine spray.
00:35It smells really good. It feels very, very nice, light hydrating.
00:40And then I follow up with a serum from The Ordinary. It's the Niacinamide and Zinc Serum.
00:45So what's good about this is it doesn't pill or feel weird under makeup.
00:49I use this pretty much every morning.
00:55And then I will follow up with a moisturizer.
00:58From Ursa Major. It's the Daily Defense Lotion. It has SPF 18. It's a mineral sunscreen.
01:03I'm all about getting that SPF protection in your moisturizer and then following up with more as needed.
01:13So once my skincare is on, I go into like what I consider like a makeup slash skincare step.
01:20This is the Jouer Anti-Blemish Matte Primer.
01:23And this has been my favorite summer primer for over two years now.
01:28Like all these products, very lightweight. It's cooling on the skin.
01:32And I will apply that, focusing it on my T-zone.
01:36So on my nose, on my chin, in this area where I tend to get very oily.
01:41And then I'll take the excess and just rub it all over.
01:46Okay, moving right along to base.
01:48So in the summer, I don't like to wear a lot of face makeup.
01:52I will often just use concealer all over my face or I'll use some sort of like tinted moisturizer.
01:57And this is another Jouer product. It is the Matte Moisture Tint.
02:01It has SPF 15 and I am in the shade Linen.
02:10So that is coverage on.
02:12I powder every day. I cannot not powder. I have quite oily skin.
02:17So I'm using the Laura Mercier translucent powder, which is honestly like my favorite powder.
02:22It's so...
02:23I mean, everyone and their mother talks about this.
02:26Everyone and their mother uses this, but it's for good reason.
02:28It is a beautiful, finely milled, loose setting powder.
02:32I will focus the powder on my T-zone.
02:35So on my nose especially because I get very oily.
02:39And then I'll bring the rest of the powder out to the rest of my face.
02:42I'm going to do some blush.
02:44This is the Burt's Bees blush in the shade Bare Peach.
02:48I love that it's like this.
02:50Wait, what is it?
02:56Hexagonal.
02:56I like that it's a hexagonal, like honeycomb-y shape.
03:00I don't like to wear a lot of blush.
03:02I feel like sometimes it can look a little bit intense on me,
03:04but I do find that the touch of it makes my face look a little bit more alive.
03:09So bronzer.
03:10This is another product I've had for a really long time.
03:14It's super beat up.
03:16It's called the Makeup Forever Pro Fusion Bronzer.
03:18It doesn't feel like normal powder.
03:21It has this creaminess to it.
03:23And when you put it on, it actually almost just like fuses into your skin.
03:27On the day-to-day, I don't want anything like super contoured.
03:30I don't want it to be very super chiseled.
03:31I just want a little bit of glow and a little bit of whatever.
03:34Oh, it's also waterproof.
03:36I'm going to move on to highlighter.
03:37So this is the Nudestix Nudies All Over Face Color in the shade Hey Honey.
03:44The texture of the highlighter itself is almost tacky.
03:50I like to use a highlighter that is like a cream or has a bit more of like a wet
03:55effect to it.
03:57So this is the Urban Day Primer Potion.
03:59I've been using it since high school, back when the tube was like a squeezy tube instead of a doe
04:04foot.
04:05But not going to lie, I prefer the squeezy tube.
04:08It's a classic.
04:09Nothing more to say.
04:11So eyeshadow.
04:12This is the Huda Beauty Gemstone Obsessions Palette.
04:14It is one that I've been using a lot.
04:16It's super tiny and you can just throw it in a bag.
04:18It's so pretty.
04:20What I've been liking is kind of like a haze, like an eye glow.
04:25So what I use is this Sigma Blending E25 brush.
04:30Sort of looks like a MAC 217.
04:31Like, you know, has a bit of a flat edge to it, but still is fluffy.
04:35You can still blend with it.
04:35I'm going to stick my little brush into this lighter purple shade.
04:40No names.
04:41Sorry.
04:47You know, for the day-to-day, I kind of like that like softer, glowy look.
04:51I kind of like to think of it as like I'm tickling my eyelid with the color.
04:58And then I put a little bit of this pink shade on the center, just for funsies.
05:11I'm going to move on to mascara.
05:13This is a Tweezerman eyelash curler.
05:16They're good, affordable options.
05:18I'm using this waterproof Lancome Monsieur Big Mascara, which I've used in another video.
05:25And it has quickly become one of my favorites.
05:28I mean, look at the diff.
05:32Alright, then I move on to eyebrows.
05:35I have had my eyebrows microbladed.
05:38It's been maybe two years since I got them microbladed.
05:41So they are fading a little bit.
05:43So what I'll do is I will put a little bit of a tinted brow gel in.
05:47It's the Hourglass Arch Brow Volumizing Fiber Gel.
05:51I have barely really any eyebrow hair.
05:54So I have to be very careful not to get it all over the place.
05:58And then the final part.
06:00So I have a few options here.
06:02Two of these are the NARS Velvet Lip Glides.
06:06And then I also have the Pat McGrath Lip Gloss.
06:10I'm actually going to use this because I really like wearing this
06:13because I think it matches the eyes really well.
06:16And that's it.
06:17If I need something to last a little bit longer,
06:19I'll switch the lipstick out for like a matte lipstick or a liquid lipstick or something.
06:24But that's the look.
06:26Lasts all day.
06:27Haven't had a problem with it yet.
