00:12Today we're going to be trying out Instagram eyebrows.
00:15How are you feeling about this?
00:17Feeling a little nervous. I feel like this is a difficult look to accomplish.
00:23Well, we should just get started then.
00:24Yeah, let's do it.
00:24Alright.
00:26Well, Instagram brows are one of those brow trends that you would 100% recognize if you saw it.
00:31It's this dramatic, bold brow that's very dark in color, but at the end, at the very front,
00:37it's a little bit feathery, a little bit lighter, almost has an ombre-like contoured effect.
00:41Very defined, very crisp, got it.
00:44Well, I don't know about you, but I'm wearing a little bit of brow product already.
00:47Yeah, I have some gel on as well.
00:49So we should wipe it off.
00:51First things first, the tools.
00:53We have a lot of brow products in front of us.
00:56The first thing that I think most grammars use is this pomade.
01:00The pomade essentially is to create the base for your eyebrows.
01:04So create almost like a stencil to make it look very crisp.
01:08Then a lot of people will use a brow powder or a pencil to fill in the rest of their
01:12eyebrows.
01:13Then a little bit of brow gel.
01:15Give the brows a little bit of hold, like hairspray for your eyebrows.
01:18And then finally, extra step if you are feeling so inclined, concealer or highlighter.
01:25It's a lot of steps for just your eyebrows.
01:28It's going to be a challenge.
01:29I think we're going to do great.
01:31Cool.
01:32So I always say that if your eyes are the windows to the sole, then your eyebrows are the curtains.
01:39I like this pomade.
01:40I've used it before.
01:41I don't know if I'm doing it right.
01:43I did my outline first because I want to fill it in with something else.
01:47But you can use the pomade to fill in your entire eyebrows.
01:50Oh my gosh.
01:51Right off the bat, I'm kind of noticing that this one's a little bit more archy, I guess, than this
01:58one.
01:59I think I kind of have to like add a little bit more in.
02:02Yeah.
02:03But they're sisters.
02:04They're not twins.
02:05Exactly.
02:06Don't have to make them the same.
02:08I think I'm going to switch to the pencil.
02:10Yeah, I just switched to the pencil.
02:11I filled them in.
02:13I'm giving them a little brush because they're looking a little unnatural.
02:17Don't really know where I'm at in this process.

02:21I mean, I blend it a lot.
02:23I actually really like it.
02:25Oh, well, thank you.
02:26I'm trying really hard and I have a good teacher, so.
02:29So I just put my brow gel on.
02:30What I'm doing now is creating a little bit of a concealer outline around my brows.
02:35That's just going to make the shape really pop.
02:38In theory.
02:39All of this is in theory.
02:40I feel like I'm just pushing product around and like hoping for the best.
02:44I feel like there's so much product on my eyebrows right now.
02:49On top of the concealer that I just laid down, I'm going to further highlight by putting a little bit
02:54of this
02:55cream highlighter pen onto my brow bone.
03:00And hopefully that will be my Instabrows done.
03:03There's gel in here, so I'm committed now.
03:05I can't.
03:06There's no turning back.
03:07Yeah.
03:08I'm definitely past the point of no return.
03:12This might look good from afar.
03:15It's just a lot.
03:17I really like these.

03:18I'll be honest.
03:19I would go out with this.

03:23If it were like my ideal world, I'd probably tone it down a little bit.
03:26If anything, the really the only part I didn't like was the brow highlighter.

03:32It's just a little sparkly.
03:33It's a little bit like woof.
03:35Eyebrows on fleek.
03:41I'm no Jeffree Star, but I think I did pretty damn good.

03:47Um, I don't think that I achieved the perfect Instagram brow.
03:50No clue to be honest, but I will say that I'm proud of the work I did today.
