00:17He's famous for injecting Kylie Jenner's lips when she was 17.
00:22And thanks to his celebrity clientele and social media savvy,
00:26he's becoming known as the doctor who's reshaping Hollywood.
00:30Dr. Orion is a medical doctor licensed in the state of California,
00:34but the rest of his path has been unconventional.
00:38So you didn't finish your residency?
00:40No. Halfway through it, I realized that's not my thing.
00:42I didn't want to do that anymore.
00:43I just wanted to do something that had to do with aesthetics.
00:46So I thought I wanted to do something different.
00:49Is it pretty rare to not have finished it?
00:51Yeah.
00:52It was kind of like one of those life-altering moments in your life.
00:55And there weren't that many options for aesthetics.
00:57And I thought, I'll see what else is out there for me.
01:00Doctors don't have to finish residency in order to practice.
01:03But in 2009, Dr. Orion did run into some trouble.
01:07He was accused of gross negligence, misleading advertising,
01:12and inadequate record-keeping.
01:15After admitting to many, but not all, of the allegations made against him,
01:19he was placed on probation and required to practice under the supervision of another doctor.
01:25Dr. Orion completed the terms of his probation, and it was lifted early.
01:31Today, that part of the story is not on Instagram.
01:35But what is on Instagram is a steady stream of posts about his business.
01:39And business is booming.
