00:04Hi, we're here to show you how to do a beautiful four strand braid that we saw at Fashion Week
00:09this season. And it's not your typical braid. This is Kelly. She's our model today. And what
00:15we're doing is combing through all the hair to make sure that she doesn't have any snarls,
00:19which she doesn't. I've added a little bit of sublimator, Leonore Grail serum into the hair
00:24to kind of smooth it out. What I'm going to have her do is split your hair into two ponytails,
00:28and then take those two ponytails and split them now into four. And you're going to go
00:33over, under, over. From the backside, over, under. Just take your time. If you get lost,
00:46that's your mantra. Over, under, over. Braid it all the way down until you start running
00:51out of the ends. Here's an elastic. I like to use blacks because they're invisible and they're
00:56slick. They're almost silicone, so they slide right off the hair, causing no damage. I'm
01:01just going to polish it up a little bit with hairspray. I'm going to take a tail comb, going
01:05to smooth any loose bits. What I'm going to do is take my 3Q Conair blow dryer. On a cool
01:12setting, I'm just going to kind of blow dry the braid down. So here we have our four strand
01:18braid done by Kelly herself. Like I said, it's not your typical braid. Four strands, but she did
01:23it by yourself. And I think it looks awesome.
