With tank top straps, an inch can mean the difference between having a regular time, just hanging out, enjoying your company and yourself and your surroundings...and having the Worst. Time. Ever. The key to strap security lies in turning your straps into a racerback. You could use a string, or you could even use a clip or pin. But we think the most unexpectedly elegant thing you could do is to use a long, fluid ribbon to cinch it together. Not only will you be able to stop monitoring any inadvertent flashing disasters, but you'll also end up with a top that other people might be fooled into believing is Lanvin. Win-win.

00:00Light summer tanks like this are all you ever want to wear when it's really hot outside,
00:03especially with the skinny straps. But when the straps keep falling off my shoulder because
00:07they're too long, it can be so annoying. I have a tip though for making everything a lot more
00:11secure while also adding a little bit of flair to your outfit. Here's how you do it. Find a length
00:15of fabric, it can be ribbon or scarf or anything, and then just tie your two straps together on your
00:20back. I like to make a bow and if you use the shoelace method I taught you before, you get
00:24extra
00:24value points for me.
