00:05Hi, this is Jenny from iSpyDIY, I'm here with Refinery29 today making a one-of-a-kind
00:11clutch inspired by the runway.
00:13We saw all these amazing hand-painted snakeskin clutches from Dries runway to this amazing
00:20Christian Louboutin clutch and today we're going to be making one on our H&M clutch,
00:26only $12.95 and you can really do it on any thrifted or faux snakeskin clutch.
00:33What we're going to need for today is paint brushes, a painter's palette, acrylic paint
00:42and water.
00:44First, what you're going to want to do is pick colors that complement your bag.
00:47We picked three today, this great teal, oxblood red which is super on trend and a white.
00:55And you're going to put them all into your painter's tray and if you want a little bit
00:58more of a transparent color you can mix in a little water.
01:02Okay, we're going to start with the teal and we're just going to dab a little bit of paint
01:07and start painting following the snakeskin pattern.
01:13And you can either make it super opaque or if you want it a little bit more transparent you
01:20can do, you can brush over it quickly.
01:26We have our first line done and then next we're going to add in some of the oxblood color.
01:38Now we're going to outline the edge in white just to add a contrasting color and a new technique.
01:47I'm just tracing the edge here with the white paint.
01:53Now I'm going to paint the other side.
01:56If you want to go rogue, you can paint all over the bag however you want.
02:01And there you have it, your hand painted DIY bag.
02:04And the amazing thing about this project is you can really get as creative as you want.
02:07It's super fast and really easy.
02:11See you next time.
