00:08There's this really awesome low-riding crown braid that I saw in September at the
00:12Nicole Miller Fashion Show, so Bethany is going to teach me how to do it.
00:16Start with damp hair and incorporate about a handful of mousse throughout your hair.
00:21Root to end.
00:24Use your hands and a blow dryer to rough up the texture.
00:30Now we're going to add a little bit of volume by teasing the crown.
00:36Separate the hair at the back of the head into two sections.
00:40It doesn't have to be perfect.
00:42Start with a section at the nape of the neck and begin French braiding towards the front
00:48of your face, incorporating hair as you go.
00:50Leave this braid loose and messy.
01:01Finish loosely braiding and tie the end with an elastic.
01:06Following the direction of the French braid, you're going to pin the tail around the head,
01:10hiding the end at the top, secure with bobby pins.
01:15Make sure everything's loose and you can pull out a few flyaways to complete the look.
01:21I love a classic Heidi braid, but this is a really cool update for spring.
01:25I love you.
01:26Let's see.
01:27I love you.
