We love glittery, speckled, textured polish jobs as much as the next girl, but you know what we don't love? Removing it. Sadly, polish that contains glitter (or any kind of nubby particles) are a huge pain to get off your nails. This can involve scrubbing away for what feels like hours, only to end up with the glitter wedged forever into your cuticles.

00:00Hi, I'm Jamin, fashion blogger and nail enthusiast at jaminlee.com.
00:04Today I'm going to show you how to easily remove glitter polish in just five minutes.
00:13You'll need polish, cotton pads, and tin foil strips.
00:18First, you'll generously soak a cotton pad with your nail polish remover.
00:22Place the cotton pad on top of your nail and follow with a tin foil strip.
00:27Place it on the top, fold the sides, and then fold back.
00:32Do this to all ten of your nails and let it soak for about five minutes.
00:35After about five minutes, you can push and wiggle the foil off and you'll see that all
00:40your polish is removed.
00:42As an alternative, if you're looking for glitter polish just to last for a night out, you can
00:47use Elmer's glue as your base coat instead.
00:49So take a polish brush just like you normally would and paint on Elmer's glue as your base
00:53coat.
00:53Allow it to dry and follow with your glitter polish.
00:57The next morning, when you're done with it, you can just chip the polish away in whole pieces
01:01and it'll be off in just a cinch.
01:03So don't let removal be the reason you never wear glitter nail polish.
01:07Now you're set with two easy tricks to remove quickly.
01:12Thank you for letting post them and this really doesn't want to hear.
