00:00Cowboys win because Cowboys lose because.
00:03877-801-1053.
00:05You want to go with win because, lose because?
00:07Would you like to go first?
00:09Well, let's hit this first one from the 806.
00:10Isn't that cool?
00:11Cowboys win because they do what CD said and take them seriously
00:15and match their intensity, which he said they haven't done in the past.
00:19Yeah, he pointed out, he goes, look, I'm aware we have not beat them
00:22since I've been on the team, which I like.
00:24That was something Brian Schottenheimer talked about this morning
00:28on Sean and RJ.
00:29He was like, look, sometimes teams just, and he goes,
00:31I'm not talking about this one in particular.
00:33I'm talking about other teams I've coached that have been.
00:36He said, sometimes you just have bad matchups,
00:38and sometimes that's the case.
00:41But he talked about their defense and kind of how that dude knows
00:44Jonathan Gannon and how they talk all the time,
00:47so he's probably going to see a lot of the similar things.
00:49And then they said Cowboys lose because it's the Cardinals,
00:52and we are cursed, and McBride goes crazy on them.
00:55Yeah.
00:56Do you believe in curses, Kevin?
00:57I do not, but I do believe in Trey McBride,
01:00and that's definitely going to be a player in my Cowboys.
01:02Okay, I want to hear yours then.
01:04Cowboys win because.
01:05Cowboys win because Pickens and Lamb both score touchdowns again.
01:09That is a rarity here.
01:11So, C.D. Lamb and George Pickens scored a touchdown in the same game.
01:14That equals success.
01:16They both scored against the Eagles,
01:18which was just the second time it's happened for them as teammates,
01:22with the other time being November 17th last year against the Raiders.
01:26Both of those games were victories.
01:28If they do it again on Sunday, Dallas will win once again.
01:33Kevin, just as I was thinking about this,
01:35because my Cowboys win is also offensive,
01:38but my Cowboys win I don't think for the rest of the year will be on the defense
01:42until they prove they can win a game on their own.
01:44I get that.
01:45Is that too much pressure on an offense?
01:47Is that too much pressure that the offense has to do certain things,
01:51otherwise they can't win a football game?
01:53Unfortunately, I think it is.
01:55But it seems like even Jerry told Sean and RJ earlier in the week,
01:58we'll talk to him here in just a little bit,
02:00hey, that's how we're going to have to win,
02:01by running the football, by being a balanced offensive team.
02:05Cowboys win because they stay committed to the run and stubborn in it again.
02:09Oh, I like that.
02:09Look, man, there is a certain rhythm that this team is going to have to go with.
02:13And what they want is they want to just air it out at times
02:18and get big explosive plays.
02:20Those are going to come.
02:21But I think that it's going to have to be set up by the run,
02:24and you're going to have maybe less targets through the air,
02:29maybe less opportunities for those big 40-yard throws.
02:32But you're going to get them because they're going to be open
02:35because you can't just blitz-dack all day long
02:38because you're running the football effectively.
02:40So Cowboys win because they stay stubborn in the run.
02:43Alec, Cowboys win because...
02:46They get out to an early lead, Kevin,
02:48because much like the Cowboys,
02:50the Cardinals seem to offensively, whenever they get behind,
02:54they tell Jacoby Brissett,
02:55hey, get ready to throw it pretty much every single play.
02:58And that's not a great way to win because Jacoby Brissett is a great bridge.
03:03He is not a great starting quarterback.
03:05So if you can force him to throw the ball a ton,
03:08and he's also Iron Man, he has been hit like crazy this season.
03:12So he's going to stay in the game,
03:14and he's going to stand in the pocket and throw deep,
03:16even on plays that he probably shouldn't.
03:19So if you force him to be a pure passer,
03:21then you're probably going to win the game.
03:23Mike Bassick has texted Kevin,
03:25and he said Cowboys win because Mr. Bob Dobolina is not their quarterback.
03:30For anybody that's toloed for a while...
03:32Alec, do we still have that drop?
03:34That is one of my favorite...
03:36That was Bob Dobolina.
03:37That is one of my favorite drums that has ever happened at this stage.
03:43From the 2-1-4, Cowboys win because they finally get their dual threat receivers going,
03:47just like Kevin said, get some touchdowns from those guys.
03:50Let's do it.
03:50Cowboys win because they aren't the Aggies.
03:53Oh, well, that's...
03:55That's rude.
03:56That's fair, but I'm sorry I read that,
03:58but I was halfway into the read.
04:00Oh, well...
04:01And I just read what's on the teleprompter.
04:03I get with their point, but that still hurts my feelings.
04:07All right, Cowboys lose because...
04:09Cowboys lose because Trey McBride has at least 10 receptions and a touchdown.
04:14So McBride has had at least 7 receptions in every game this season.
04:19He had 10 catches and a touchdown last weekend,
04:22but the Cardinals lost to the Broncos.
04:24The Dallas defense, however, is most certainly not the Denver defense.
04:29So I say McBride, if he gets 10 catches and a touchdown, Cowboys lose.
04:35You know, McBride, at 9-plus catches right now, is trading at 41% on Kalshi,
04:39so keep an eye on that.
04:40And that is shockingly high for 9 or more catches.
04:45You would think it would normally be like 12%, but they're like, I don't know.
04:49I think Cowboys lose because their defense can't get three stops.
04:54That's all we need?
04:55I think three stops is what this defense needs if this offense does what I said earlier.
05:00That's going to be the balance of the game is you just got to get three effective stops.
05:05Now, I know Schottenheimer this morning was talking about, look, we got to do these things.
05:09He was talking about, you know, tightening up in the red zone,
05:11what the Eagles did to them, and the red zone was not good for what they wanted.
05:16He said they shouldn't have had that many opportunities inside the red zone to be that effective.
05:21But, yeah, three defensive stops.
05:23I don't care where they are, but there are going to be three big moments in the game,
05:26and I'd love to see them in another overshone deflection, interception, something big like that.
05:32From the 2-1-4, Cowboys win because they finally get the dual threat receivers.
05:37You said that when I thought I was reading another one.
05:39Cowboys win because they wake the heck up
05:41and remember that they're America's team from the 6-8-2.
05:46Mr. Medford, Cowboys lose because...
05:50Yeah, the Cowboys lose because they do abandon the run game, unlike Corey's.
05:55Cowboys win because they don't get stubborn with it,
05:59and they get a little too uncomfortable with what they're seeing
06:02because the Cardinals, for all of their faults,
06:05I think their defensive line is halfway decent,
06:07and I think that they can stuff a couple runs for you here and there,
06:11especially on third down.
06:12They might come to life just a little bit,
06:14enough to scare the offensive play caller,
06:17and that is just the last thing I want to see
06:20because, again, I feel like that's your key to success.
06:24Jerry even said it this week with the morning show.
06:27He'll probably say it again some way, somehow, in a few minutes,
06:29that you've got to score a lot of points with this team to win the game.
06:36Now, you're going to love one of these, Corey.
06:38For the 4-0-5, Cowboys win because they figured out how to be a team.
06:41They lose because they're still figuring out how to be a team.
