01:00Coach, Anthony will give you an opportunity.
01:02Please, Coach.
01:07Yeah, I'm just impressed.
01:10I'm just a huge congratulations to Indonesia.
01:16Clearly a team that is moving in the right direction.
01:19I have a good, really, really strong sport of players and congratulations.
01:26My own personal feeling is one of just incredibly sad.
01:32I don't know how to share how difficult this moment was, but I also have to say that I'm truly
01:47proud of the players.
01:48But what they put into the game, the spirit, how they responded when they went down to 10 men.
01:56I don't, you know, there's no fault.
01:59Blame, they couldn't have done any more.
02:01And then when he gets the penalties, you know, it becomes somewhat of a lottery.
02:07But probably this man sat next to me every time he played, he's been fantastic.
02:15But yeah, congratulations to Indonesia.
02:54So, first of all, like, personally, quite regret, you know, like, we just have such a few steps to reach
03:02to be the winners or the champions of the trophies.
03:05But by the way, we have to send you the big appreciations to the teammates and also give the big
03:10congratulations to the Indonesians tonight.
03:13Like, and yeah, you have to give the big credit and appreciation to the teammates, for the work hard, for
03:19the effort.
03:21So, nothing to say, just thank you and appreciation to everyone.
03:42Okay.
03:42I have two questions.
03:43First of all, first one is you and Coach Hartman have been together in North America and now in Southeast
03:55Asia. How do you see it between you and Coach Hartman?
04:01And how do you see the difference between the football in India and the atmosphere in Southeast Asia between Switzerland
04:12and Thailand and Indonesia?
04:14And then the second one is Indonesia and Thailand are going to be together in the same group at AFC
04:20Asia Cup. How do you see it for the next month?
04:23That is three.
04:25Okay, that's all, thank you.
04:27With regards to John, I just want to wish you congratulations. We're not super close, but we've obviously competed together
04:37quite a few times, even in New Zealand, our paths crossed.
04:44With regards to the football here, I think anyone that understands the game will see that they are a national
04:55team that is developing very quickly with a lot of dual nationals and a lot of players in Europe.
05:05And I just want to wish them the best and I think they're a team that are moving in the
05:12right direction.
05:13And obviously playing the final in the first final of this tournament in their stadium, you could see and experience,
05:23you know, it's a serious footballing country with fans that are incredibly passionate about their team.
05:31And yeah, just congratulations to the president, the team, the fans.
05:40And then the third question, I can't really remember what it was.
05:45Oh yes, look, I have to be honest. Right now, I'm just deeply, deeply sad. It's a tough way to
06:04lose a game.
06:07So, I think for me, just getting back to Bangkok and a couple of days off and then we'll start
06:14thinking about the Asian Cup.
06:21So, for me. So, first, what to say I'm so proud of you. Just what you've just done, Thai people.
06:31So, my question is,
06:41So what did you learn or like what kind of lesson that you get it in this style of competition,
06:47in yourself, personally, in this tournament?
06:50Yeah, yeah. Well, thank you, and it's so good to see you. You're always so friendly and a good person.
07:00Well, I think, you know, we spoke before about the criticism of the team.
07:08What I have learned is it's since we've come in, we're just continually having a different group of players just
07:18because of the nature of the competitions we've been in.
07:23It's the Hyundai Cup where you can't be the best squad, the June window, you know, all these different things.
07:29And I think what I learned from this window is this is the core of our main group that now
07:37we want to keep together.
07:42I'm really proud of the younger players that have come in. I think there's some huge potential.
07:48I even think there's some younger players that weren't in this squad that could have really helped us.
07:52So I'm excited about the young players coming through.
07:57And obviously there's some players that we know about that we wanted to come in that were injured and then
08:02losing Jonathan.
08:03So I think now what's important for us is to continue with this core of groups so we can start
08:12developing something that we can be a team that just gets stronger and stronger.
08:20It's been difficult up until now because we keep having different groups.
08:27What I learned from this tournament is they're a group of players we've just, they're amazing to work with.
08:37They give everything, they give everything, being in the changing rooms there and seeing what it means to players and,
08:46you know, Tang for example.
08:49Tang's someone who's, and this man here and many other players that just because of what happened tonight, you know,
08:59Tang was very emotional.
09:01And this guy gives you everything for his country and these guys are just a pleasure to work with.
09:11So it's a group we want to just keep building with and adding competition to.
09:43I was shocked that the original version was split up in the original version of the series
09:49It was the overall version of the Pro-XXXPED because the version of the version was a good image.
10:06So the version of the version of the V prints are not given to the original version,
10:11for the audience, and specific faces, and the other.
10:15So, I had a chance to see the audience.
10:19I think that you can see the audience.
10:23We were watching the audience.
10:33We can see the audience as well.
10:38The audience is the audience.
10:39for the first time I was able to make a final guide to the project and to the end of
10:48the project.
10:48I was able to make a final guide to the project with the project and the project.
10:59I'm still not sure if this is the one who is also the one who is using the camera.
11:04I have two people here, which are the same.
11:09In the moment, it's like a lot.
11:13It's like a lot of people who are using the camera.
11:17It's like a lot of people who have used it.
11:21The camera's using their own software.
11:23I think that's okay.
11:25But in this shot, the shot will be a good chance.
11:30And the shot will be a good chance.
11:34Thanks.
11:37Good evening, Coach.
11:39I'm speaking for FIFA.
11:40Coach, there were any elements of surprise when you played with 10 men and then you come back 2-1?
11:49And I'm very curious what did you talk to the guys when you played for 10 men and until the
11:56comeback 2-1?
11:58And also what did you talk also before the penalty shootout because it's a 50-50 game.
12:04And then second question, what any difference qualities about the previous tournament in Hyundai Cup because you played in the
12:12two consecutive finals?
12:14That's three questions as well.
12:21Well, when we went down to 10 men, we just had to find a way where we could stay in
12:26the game but also be an attacking threat.
12:30And that changed two times where we did different things.
12:36Credit to the players for being brave and getting us back in the game.
12:43The penalties.
12:46I think just like the subs, you know, like really, I don't think we made one tactical sub tonight.
12:54It was all, you know, injuries and players, issues with their ribs, cramps, different.
13:04So there was no tactical subs really.
13:06And then in the end, when it came to penalties, it was a case between the players.
13:15When you played 10 men, they were so exhausted.
13:18They gave everything.
13:20But you just going around and asking players, do you feel comfortable taking it?
13:26How confident do you feel?
13:28When you play by it?
13:29So that's why we went with the list that we did, from my point of view, there's no blame.
13:39Or like the guys that missed the penalty.
13:42These guys give their heart and soul for the team, and if we wouldn't be where we were if it
13:50wasn't for guys like that.
13:52And then the difference between this team and the High Ando Cup, it was simple, we just couldn't get players
14:02because it was in pre-season.
14:04But it allowed us to look at a lot of young players, and some of them have been involved in
14:09this tournament.
14:12Kakana, C4, these guys, some of the young people, Yo, these guys, there's some young players coming through that have
14:21real, real talent,
14:23and an opportunity to, that I trust, I believe in, they have a future.
14:29Yeah, there's also young players that played in the High Ando Cup, they're not here, that, you know, they're close
14:34to being in the squad.
14:39But it gave me an opportunity to look at those guys, and now, as I said before, we want to
14:46now keep a consistent squad,
14:47so we can really build the team and develop the team in the way we want to develop the team.
14:54I hope I answered all three questions.
15:02Maybe in the last person.
15:05Then whether?
15:06Yes.
15:08Yes.
15:08Thank you, Coach.
15:11Congratulations.
17:20And he's helped us become that group of people.
17:24And that was the mission.
17:26No matter how hard it would be or how long it was going to take, the only thing that mattered
17:32was to lift a trophy for you guys, for this country, and to make you guys proud.
17:37So again, thank you to everyone that came out tonight and supported us.
17:42Next, Elton.
17:47Okay.
17:51Okay.
18:00Good evening, Coach.
18:02Good evening.
18:03How are you?
18:03Once again, congratulations and thank you for the trophy.
18:07I have a question for Coach and for Elton.
18:11First, how's your feelings after being a champion of FIFA Asian Cup 2026 for both of you?
18:17And for Coach John, I'm really curious about the penalty kicks.
18:25We get five penalty takers, all the defenders.
18:29Why do you choose the defenders instead of the takers that you have in the match?
18:37Yeah, I mean, first things first, cup finals, I mean, they're going to be decided in moments.
18:48They're going to be decided by might and mentality, a spirit, a grip to win.
18:55And then penalties, we practiced them yesterday.
18:58We spent a lot of time with our boys, just working through some of the mental processes.
19:03Each player was given opportunity, we analyzed players that were taken.
19:38And the guys who took the penalties were the ones that were more clinical yesterday in the preparation.
19:45So Elton Bagdad being one of them, I told him to go and score with his head.
19:52But, yeah, he was fantastic.
19:55Dean James, Shane Patanama, you know, these boys were super clinical in the finishing yesterday.
20:03And some of the strikers weren't.
20:05And they weren't confident.
20:07Often when you haven't been able to do it in training, you give it to the boys that seem to
20:13be informed.
20:14So, we always practice these things and practice pays off.
20:23Yeah, firstly, I'd just like to say thank you for all the support from all the fans.
20:31I'm so proud to be Indonesian today.
20:35And I just want to give a special mention to our coach.
20:39Like, there's no chance we would have won this without him today.
20:45So, I just want to say thank you for all your work.
20:49And for the rest of the coaching staff as well and all the people behind the scenes.
20:53You know, they put so much time and effort into making sure that we can perform our best.
20:57And, you know, about games every three days here.
21:01It's not been easy.
21:03And so much work behind the scenes has gone into making us feel as ready as possible for the next
21:11game.
21:12So, it's not just us on the pitch.
21:14It's a win for the whole team and all the staff as well.
21:20Thanks.
21:21Thanks, sir.
21:28Good afternoon, Coach Arnir, Commissioner of the Misses and Errori.
21:31Congratulations and thank you for today.
21:33My question is, with the team that you win the title of Champion title tonight?
21:41Yeah!
21:44Yeah!
21:50Okay, now he's just making it.
22:05Where is the trophy?
22:07Where is the trophy?
22:09Where is the trophy?
22:09How many of you have asked me where it is?
22:25With the theme that you have to get the title tonight, is it the theme that you will keep
22:33for the next tournament or maybe that's next in the future and with every critic and struggle
22:42that you've been through all the way, that's this or what our best that critics the champion
22:50title.
22:51And for Akam, just one question.
22:53You've been in the 19-19-19, if I remember, 2021 in Singapore for AFF.
22:59You've been flying from England to Singapore, if I'm not mistaken.
23:05And if you see the journey in Southeast Asia tournament for this Indonesian team, do you
23:12think this is the time for Indonesia to become the king of Southeast Asia?
23:21I think we're just showing we are the kings of Southeast Asia.
23:24Yeah.
23:26You know, the coach actually showed us a montage earlier before in the hotel of all the times
23:35we've lost in the finals.
23:37And that was actually a clip from the final of the AFF.
23:42you know, where we conceded against Thailand.
23:47Yeah.
23:48It's been some journey.
23:51You know, so much has changed in the federation and so many new faces are here as well.
23:57But one thing is for sure is we all love and want to represent this country.
24:05And yeah, like I say, I'm so proud of the Indonesian today and we are the kings of Southeast Asia.
24:13Yeah.
24:13I mean, I just don't know what Elton said.
24:16It's been six finals.
24:18They're hard to win.
24:20And again, I always say, back out of the door here, put his trust in me and my staff and
24:26the
24:26team behind the team.
24:28Elton Baggett and the players that they've worked hard to bring to this country.
24:34These players are adapting to the conditions here.
24:37They're getting stronger as a unit mentally.
24:40I think people, they don't understand how important the team spirit, the brotherhood that
24:48you create is.
24:49These tactics are one thing, but in cup finals, tactics go out the window.
24:54You know, this is part of it.
24:56It's about the spirit.
24:57It's about a will.
24:59It's about having a deeper purpose and an emotional connection to your brothers.
25:04That's what we're building here.
25:06So a lot of these brothers will be back.
25:08Because the experiences, they're building a part of the foundation for our future.
25:15We have this in Canada.
25:16We have watershed moments when we beat the USA for the first time in 36 years.
25:23Step-by-step, you build a different mentality in the group.
25:28But there are other faces.
25:30We've got Mies Hildes, Miriam Lianataz.
25:34We've got Marcelino.
25:36There are other players.
25:38There are other players we are currently monitoring and hoping to bring as part of this team.
25:44And as always, I'm watching.
25:47I live in Indonesia.
25:48I watch every game.
25:50The local games.
25:52My son's playing at Bali, so I watch a bit of Bali United.
25:55I'm watching the local leagues to see which players can come through.
26:01I'm really hoping we can create that Alphonso Davies of Indonesia.
26:07That next, next, next player who's going to go and play Champions League from this country.
26:13We're always watching.
26:14And I know Coach Nova is doing a great job with our U20 team.
26:19The big moment beating Australia.
26:22So taking steps.
26:23The country is taking steps forward in a lot of this.
26:26It's down to Padere Toria and his vision.
26:29To drive this place.
26:32To trophies and winning.
26:34He wanted a championship team.
26:36He told me I had to lift the trophy.
26:39Well, we did.
26:41We did.
26:54We'll come back for more.
26:59Hello, Good night, Coach.
27:01Good night, Alcan.
27:02First of all, congratulations for the winning tonight.
27:06I want to ask about the coach, you look so agree when the Elton score, the Elton score to a
27:20goal to the Thailand, maybe you can share what you're doing in that moment to us and for Elton.
27:32In the IFS 2020, you play for Indonesia and you lose from Thailand. Now you've got the revenge to beat
27:44Thailand. What's your opinion about that? What's your opinion? Thank you.
27:57Yeah, obviously the experience of losing in Singapore to Thailand hurts. So for sure it was an extra motivation today
28:06to win the game.
28:09Like Coach said, it's a final and actually I wouldn't have wanted to win the game any other way.
28:18You know, we were hit with so much adversity today. They went down to 10 men and then we concede.
28:26We scored and concede and then we concede an extra time and yeah, it's so much better.
28:34It's amazing to win the way we did with Emil making that last penalty save. But for sure there was
28:42extra motivation coming into today against Thailand as well.
28:47Marked the AFF in 2020. Yeah, it feels like ages ago.
28:54Yeah, I mean, I went out and scored. I literally, I think, turned around and was trying to get the
29:01penalties sorted very quickly.
29:03Because I knew it just changed the course of the game and this is what happens in finals moments.
29:09So I think I was on with one of the assistant coaches to get the penalty takers set and wondering
29:17whether I was going to leave Elton still up there to see if he could get another goal.
29:22He was enjoying himself in that centre-forward role.
29:27But I mean, it's just crazy. It's been a crazy experience. This tournament's been wild.
29:31I think playing in Southeast stage is wild. And it takes mental fortitude before anything to lift trophies here.
29:42I have to say, you know, Thailand were excellent tonight. Very resilient.
29:49They showed that they've been in finals and lifted trophies before. They had that experience and they had that killer
29:55instinct.
29:56But I think we showed that we won't roll over anymore. For anyone. And we'll be in it till the
30:06end.
30:07And again, just proud of my staff, the players and everyone in PSSI that have helped bring this moment. Thanks.
30:30Good morning. I have two questions for you. You took Canada to the World Cup in 2022. And then where
30:43does this magical night rank in your personal career?
30:48And then the second one, tactical-wise, what was the best decision that you've made in the game? Thank you
30:55very much.
31:00You know, I think in moments, this is very special. Very special. Since I moved to Indonesia, I've realised how
31:12much it means to people.
31:14Football is life. Football is life. In Canada, we were just waking the country up with our achievements.
31:23And it was a special moment. As I shared with the boys, my sister passed away three weeks later.
31:31So it was a really tough moment to try and celebrate a big achievement. And it was shadowed, I think,
31:38by that.
31:40This is special. This is really special. I run around GBK every day. And the people always say, Coach. Three
31:51points, Coach.
31:53We have to win, Coach. We have to win, Coach. We have to beat Malaysia. We have to lift the
31:58trophy, Coach. A lot of pressure.
32:02And I think this is a big achievement for everyone. Special. Super special.
32:08And at the moment, it's my best football achievement. Because I shared it with a group of guys that I
32:15knew how much this meant to them.
32:19And the biggest decision, it was, you know, when we went in extra time. I was trying to get the
32:27team to be calm and trust the structure.
32:30And I was pushing the plus one, centre back joint. And I said to the guys, trust the structure. You
32:38will score from a plus one, centre back joint.
32:41You will score from it. Just trust the structure. Opposite, opposite rhythm. And Rusty thought I was asking him to
32:48hold back.
32:50And when he finally triggered, he could join. He joined and got on that under lap with Kevin. And it
32:57opened everything up for Elton.
32:59So that was a really cool moment. Just seeing a local lad in Rusty. He scored against Bangladesh. And then
33:12an amazing assist today.
33:14I know how much it means to him to do this for his country. So, just so proud.
33:30Hello, coach. Quick question for both of you. How do you celebrate this title? Maybe run at the new time
33:38at the GDK or can you share us?
33:40Yes. And the second one is, can you share the plan for the AFC Asian Cup? Can you share us,
33:52please? Thank you.
33:53For both of us?
33:55For the celebration, both of you, for the plan for the joint.
34:04I've not heard of any plans yet, but for sure there's some conversation in the changing room now.
34:10What are we doing? I've got no idea.
34:15Yeah, I'm in the plans for Asian Cup, AFC. This was part of the plan. It was about more tournament
34:23experience with this group.
34:25It was about more time together with a core group. We've clocked up maybe five training sessions in this period
34:34of time.
34:35There's been so many games. So, we've got more work to do, of course. And you can see that. You
34:40know, as a group, we go through the first 25 minutes of the game and we looked top.
34:46It looked like we could have scored three or four. We didn't take our chances. And then we have that
34:52moment where we get sucked into a black hole and we allow teams to get on top of us.
34:59But then we fight back. So, we've got work to do. We'll work with our games in November. We have
35:06two games planned. We'll announce them at the right time.
35:09But two good games.
35:13And then here's your cup. I mean, we get Thailand again.
35:18That's going to be another hell of a match. But we'll have our skipper back, Jay Estes, which, you know,
35:23that will be an exciting moment.
35:25And I have to mention Kevin Dix. He's been outstanding in this tournament. What a skipper to lead the team
35:32to the first trophy.
35:34But we look forward to Jay coming back as well. So, I'll welcome some new players, I think, in the
35:40next six months.
35:41And players I haven't worked with that have come back from injury. So, exciting times ahead for our country.
35:48And how do you celebrate this with John? I mean, you're a champion.
35:53I'll chat back. Tiger, tiger, tiger. With my wife, Claire.
36:01Yeah, I have to give a big thank you to Claire. She keeps everyone calm and she's the best.
36:12Okay? Thank you, Claire. Thank you, Claire. Thank you, Claire. Thank you, Claire. Thank you, Claire. Thank you, Claire. Thank
36:24you, Claire. Thank you, Claire. Thank you, Claire. Thank you, Claire. Thank you, Claire. Thank you, Claire. Thank you, Claire.
36:24Thank you, Claire. Thank you, Claire. Thank you, Claire. Thank you, Claire. Thank you, Claire. Thank you, Claire. Thank you,
36:30Claire. Thank you, Claire. Thank you, Claire. Thank you, Claire. Thank you, Claire. Thank you, Claire. Thank you, Claire. Thank
36:31you, Claire. Thank you, Claire. Thank you, Claire. Thank you, Claire. Thank you, Claire. Thank you, Claire. Thank you, Claire.
36:31Thank you, Claire. Thank you, Claire. Thank you, Claire. Thank you, Claire. Thank you, Claire. Thank you, Claire. Thank you,
36:33Claire. Thank you, Claire. Thank you, Claire. Thank you, Claire. Thank you, Claire
