00:00Okay, so if you're an aspiring digital nomad and you want to make money online while traveling the
00:05world, whether it's from content creation, blogging, user-generated content, digital marketing,
00:11IT, or really just whatever it is, the list goes on and on and on. You cannot do it without
00:17having
00:18your own portfolio website. This is super important in 2024. This will not only help you store all
00:24your content in one place, but it'll also serve as a way of reaching potential brands. And one of
00:31the biggest ways of securing brand deals as a content creator is having a portfolio library
00:36and looking extremely professional. And this is where I think most people get stuck because in
00:42the past, creating a website was super difficult and technical. Like you literally had to know how
00:48to code and graphic design, or you had to pay a website creator literally thousands of
00:54dollars, which is exactly what we did years ago when we started being digital nomads.
00:59But luckily it's the year 2024 and with the advancement of AI, you don't need any of those
01:04skills to build a website anymore. So for everybody who's getting started in online business, or maybe
01:10you've been doing it for a few years now, but you don't have a portfolio website, then this video is

01:22under 10 minutes with no experience whatsoever. All right, let's get started.
01:26Okay, so the first thing you're going to want to do is head over to the Hostinger website using our

02:24going to select what type of website we want to build. And today, we're going to go with a blog

02:30website. Now, this doesn't mean that we are only going to be able to put blogs on the website, but
02:35this is
02:36probably the one that suits our content creation niche the best because blogging is a big part of
02:42what we do. But we also are going to put like a lot of our video content and all of
02:49our other portfolio
02:49stuff on there as well. So click next and we're going to use the AI technology and that's going to
02:57give us a name, Lloyd and Mandy. And then it's going to ask for all of your personal details like
03:04your
03:04address and all of that. So you can put that in there and then just wait. Then it's going to
03:09redirect
03:09us to the website builder. So now it's going to ask a couple of questions about our website,
03:14including like our brand name and then a brief description of what we're going to put in it. So
03:20we're going to put in full-time travelers that quit our jobs to live life on our own terms.
03:26Now remember, this is AI generated and I'm not doing any of this. I'm just answering a few simple
03:32questions and have a look at that. We already have a website. This is a fully functioning website right
03:39now, but today we're going to customize it using some of the AI tools that are available on Hostinger
03:44and make it look even better. Okay. So before we go ahead and start editing this site, we'll just
03:50have a quick tour of what the Hostinger AI has already created for us using basically no input from me
03:58whatsoever except a few words that I input. I actually kind of like the branding that they've
04:03done here, like the colors and you can see they've got our brand name Lloyd and Mandy up the top
04:08and it says our terms living life. That's kind of cool actually. Follow our journey as we explore the
04:15world and embrace the freedom of full-time travel. I mean, it's almost perfect already, but we are going
04:20to make some changes. As you can see, there's some stock images that they've used here. We'll probably
04:26be replacing that with images of me and Mandy. And there's some blog posts. These are AI generated
04:33blog posts. They're not actually real that we're going to keep published on our site.
04:38If you scroll down to the bottom here, they've even got this cool get in touch section where people can
04:43fill out their name and email and send us a direct message. And they've got our email address and social
04:51media all linked up here so people can get in touch with us. Obviously, I'd have to change the phone
04:57number there. And then there's just to join our community so you can start collecting emails, which
05:03is actually a huge thing for content creation. You want to collect as many emails as you can because
05:09maybe one day down the road, you want to start like an email newsletter or something like that. So you
05:13want to have people signed up. And then if we go up to the top here, there's a couple of
05:18other things
05:18here. There's the blog page. So this is where our blogs would actually go. And that's pretty cool.
05:25They've got like three AI generated blogs here. We'll be replacing them with our own.
05:30And then there's the contact page. So as I said, like you've got like a form here where people can
05:36fill it out. It's got our branding in the corner and our social media. And we'll input our WhatsApp
05:43number there so people can get in touch with us directly. Our location, to be honest, probably not
05:49going to put that there because it doesn't really apply to us. We don't have a physical business like
05:54that. And then you can also see what it looks like on mobile. So this is what it would look
05:59like if you
06:00were looking at the website on mobile, which as you can see, it still looks really great. If you go
06:10to
06:10a small space and it still looks really good. I like this blue color that they're using. I might
06:15even keep that. But that's what Hosting is AI has been able to do just by putting in a few
06:21words
06:21and inputting the form. But we are going to go now and make this our own and add our little

06:38Okay, so what we're going to do now is we're going to edit this site, as I said, and just
06:44make it a
06:44little bit more unique to us. So if you go over to click the edit website button and then you

06:54you've got all these different options here. You can add a section if you like in here. This is our
06:59heading logo here. I'm actually thinking I might create an AI generator logo to see how that works
07:08because at the moment it's sort of just text and I want to see if we can get something maybe
07:12a
07:12little bit cooler. So I'm going to hit the AI logo maker here. I'll see what happens if we just
07:19type
07:19in Lloyd and Mandy and then we do maybe let's do modern. Actually, I think I should put in full
07:36time travel
07:38because I think it already knows our name. So I'm going to put in full time travel here and I'm
07:43going
07:43to put in modern and click create and let's see what comes up. And guys, like this literally takes
07:53not even minutes, like seconds for it to create this sort of stuff, which is insane. Forget about
07:58hiring a graphic designer or paying someone thousands of dollars to do any of this stuff for you anymore.
08:04As a beginner, like me, you can do this on your own. Okay, so it's given us these different options
08:11here.
08:11I kind of like this one. It's sort of like minimalistic, but we'll put in Lloyd and Mandy.
08:24That looks cool. It's like an RV with mountains and like nature around it. Actually, I like this font
08:38here. So you can change all the different kind of fonts and it actually recommends which font it is.
08:43That looks really cool. And I'm going to type slogan, live life on your own terms. That looks cool.
08:56I like that. We're going to go with that. Look at that. That literally like took three or four minutes.
09:09Okay, so we've got that there. Now let's go back and see if we can't insert that.
09:20Let's see if we can insert our logo here.

09:36Yeah. Let's put that in. Look at that. That already looks so much cooler. I like that.
09:51And if we go over to the left hand side here, you can see all the different pages that we
09:57have.
09:57We can actually add pages. So I'm going to go ahead and add a page and I'm going to put
10:06our YouTube page on here because that's pretty much our biggest portfolio we have is our YouTube page,
10:13obviously. So I'll put in projects and you can choose from these different templates. They're pretty
10:19similar. Um, I might go with this basic one here.
10:26And then we're going to do, we're going to call it

10:47channel
10:53and then I'm going to change this picture here. So you'll notice, um, if you're a beginner,
10:59uh, it'll have up in the top left hand corner here, all the different steps that you should be taking
11:04to customize your website. So it'll help you every step of the way. Um, so it's already telling me
11:13that I've done two out of the seven required steps really to customize my website. So I'm going to replace
11:20this image here with an image of our actual, uh, with an image of our actual YouTube channel, um,
11:36which I'm going to see if I can upload that here. There we go. Select
11:48and there we have a picture of our YouTube channel
11:52and a quick description, which you can edit. You can actually use AI to edit this as well.
11:57So you don't have to write all of this yourself. Um, and I'm just going to write a YouTube.
12:08So all you have to do is put in a few words and it's going to generate, uh,
12:12all of the copy for you. So you don't have to spend hours typing up all of this yourself.
12:16And I'm going to write YouTube channel
12:23about full time travel as
12:30as digital nomads. Create text. And have a look at this. It's just completely
12:40written all of the copy for our YouTube channel, which honestly, like it completely
12:48nailed it. This, I'm not going to change any of this. I'm going to leave this here.
12:52So at the top here, we'll put portfolio
12:59or content portfolio.
13:05So we have our YouTube channel here and then we can go down and we can add our Instagram page
13:12here.
13:13So I'll put in
13:16or upload another photo to use for that, which I'll probably do
13:26this one. I like this one.
13:40We just need to crop it a little bit, which is easy enough.
13:44Oh, now bears cropped out of it though. That's okay though.
13:47So, you can have a little play around with this. As you can see, it's super easy. And
13:56we're gonna change this as well to Instagram.
14:18And again, you can get AI to write all of the copy for this. And then at the bottom, obviously,
14:24we would just leave a link to our Instagram page so people can jump over and see all of our
14:29stuff
14:29we've done on Instagram. And here we'll leave a link to our YouTube channel.
14:33Okay, so we've got content portfolio here. I think what we'll do is we'll add another page
14:39and title it
14:45Brand Collabs. So here's where we can showcase where we've worked with other brands and hopefully
14:54this will entice other brands to want to work with us because it looks super professional.
15:02So we'll write Brand Collabs up the top here.
15:09Brand Collabs. Chuck in a photo. I'm going to use a photo that we did with
15:18Unbound Merino, which is the clothing brand. I'm wearing their shirt right now.
15:26Yep, that's good. We'll use that. There's me trying to look like a model.
15:34Just crop it a little bit.
15:38And then I'm going to edit the text. Unbound Merino.
15:48And so I would then go ahead and put all of the Brand Collabs that we've done
15:55in here so that anybody coming to look at our page can see all the previous work that we have
16:02done.
16:10So we have Unbound Merino here.
16:14All the fly.
16:16Company we've been working with pretty much since we started this whole YouTube journey.
16:24Now we have a page for our brand collabs and also our content. So we go back to home here
16:33and you can check out here we have projects. I'm actually going to rename that.
16:44Rename it to
16:48Content Channels. There we go.
16:56So if we go to home now you can see here we've added two extra pages content channels and brand
17:03collabs which I mean we've basically got our portfolio ready to go here.
17:11Okay now that we've added these different pages to our portfolio you can go ahead and check out the
17:17left here. You can see all these elements that you can add. You can actually add things like
17:23your Instagram feed on the home page which is really cool. So people can instantly see what's
17:29coming from your Instagram. You're going to link that up to Hostinger. You can also add a video. So
17:36instead of say this photo here we could have a video trailer which would be like one of our YouTube
17:44videos. So the first thing that people see when they jump on this page is a trailer of our YouTube
17:49channel which is pretty cool. But I'm going to delete that for now.
17:56And I'm going to show you guys some of the AI tools that you can use. For instance
18:04if you want to if you don't have images to use already you can use the AI
18:09image generator. And all you have to do literally is type in a few words like
18:17let's do Mexico beach
18:26couple
18:30summer
18:35So see here it's generated these AI images and all you have to do is drag it and drop it
18:41into
18:41wherever you want to put this image if you don't have images to use already. But if you're a content
18:47creator you've probably got your own images that you want to use. But that's a pretty cool feature.
18:51Another one is the AI blog generator. Now this one is super cool. If you are somebody who does blogging
18:59for a living or even any kind of content creation blogging is one of the best ways to get people
19:04to your website and also you can put affiliate links in there. So if you're into affiliate marketing
19:10and that's one of the ways that you make money online blogging honestly is one of the best ways
19:15to do it. So let's go ahead and use this blog AI generator. So the tone of voice is super
19:22important
19:22if you want this to be formal neutral or casual. I like to do casual because that's kind of how
19:28I am
19:28anyway. And I'm going to do 10 tips to save money while traveling
19:41full-time. Honestly it almost feels like cheating
19:51as a digital nomad.
19:57And it's going to do 300 to 500 words and this is going to take like less than a minute
20:02guys.
20:07Look at this we have a full-on blog here created for us.
20:15I've just shown you how you can do this without any experience or knowledge. You don't need to be an
20:20IT specialist or any kind of graphic designer. You just need to use this platform. The last thing I'm
20:27going to show you before we finish this off is the AI heat map which is a brand new feature.
20:33It's really
20:33cool and what it basically does is it creates a heat map to show you where people are visiting on
20:40your
20:41website so that you can focus more attention on those areas. All you have to do is click the AI
20:48heat
20:48map tool button here. And what it does is it predicts the user's behavior so where are they going to
20:56when
20:56they hit your page. So if we go to our home screen here and we use the AI heat map
21:06it's going to show you
21:07I mean this is obviously an example because this website isn't live yet.
21:19So this would show that obviously more attention is focused on this picture here and this blog.
21:25So that's obviously working. Maybe this one here isn't working too well because there's not much
21:30attention on there. The get in touch section is working really well so we'll keep that there.
21:35Maybe we change out this image. This is a really really good way to see where customers are going
21:42when they come to your website. And as you can see here like it says that everybody is going to
21:47the
21:48social media contact page rather than the email. So maybe this is more effective and you want to
21:52emphasize that. Okay so there it is guys. As you can see we have a fully functioning website here. All
21:59you
21:59have to do is click the go live button in the top right hand corner and your website will be
22:04live.
22:04I would suggest sharing it with friends and family and have a see what they think about your website.
22:10Maybe they have some advice of things that you could change. I also would recommend don't just be
22:16stagnant when it comes to your website. Once you've got your website built there's so many things you can
22:22do to keep improving it and keep adding to it. Just go and explore all of these features that Hostinger
22:28has on this sidebar here and really just have fun playing around with your website and all the
22:33different things you can add. If this is something that's holding you back from starting a business
22:39because building a website is too daunting don't worry it's really not a big deal anymore. You can use
22:46Hostinger and it's going to be so much easier. Anybody from a beginner to maybe a more advanced
22:53digital nomad can do this. This is not only perfect for somebody like us a content creator who wants to
