00:00Boy, here we go again with the Dallas Kardashians.
00:02And I think that if you're a Dallas Cowboy fan, here we go again.
00:09We go through this absolute epic story all year long on the Dallas Cowboys.
00:18Jerry Jones at the beginning of the year pushing his chips all in, as he says.
00:22He says this team is going to be one of the best teams that he has constructed.
00:27Made a comment that the Micah Parsons trade is in the same conversation with the Herschel
00:32Walker trade that was dealt by Jimmy Johnson years and years ago.
00:36And here we go again.
00:38They beat their nemesis.
00:39They beat the Eagles last week, right?
00:42Then what do they do?
00:44They take on the Arizona Cardinals.
00:46Now, don't tell me the Arizona Cardinals are a good football organization.
00:50They're run by the Bidwells.
00:52The Bidwells have no idea how to build a football team.
00:57The Cardinals are a train wreck.
01:00They are constantly in the top 10 when it comes to drafting.
01:04And here we go.
01:05The Dallas Cowboys in a game that they could have took control of the NFC East.
01:10What do they do?
01:11They lay an egg.
01:12And here again is Jerry Jones compromising what he thinks his decision was on hiring of Brian Schottenheimer.
01:22And he blames the players that Jerry put on the roster.
01:28Well, I will say that a lot of people let Brian down today.
01:32And so for whatever this is 31 years of this, we can all be in line.
01:40And that was a total, to use a cliche, that was a total team effort out there for us.
01:47And we have to be, for our fans, we have to be better than that when we can get our
01:58hands on the win and then drop the ball.
02:02Dude, I will say it one more time to you.
02:05You're right.
02:06Player accountability, it starts there.
02:09But Jerry's accountability is the fact that he believes that he hires the right coaches for that football team.
02:18Do you know for 29 years, Tom Landry was the only head football coach that the Dallas Cowboys had ever
02:26had until they hired Jimmy Johnson.
02:28And then after that, it's been a conveyor belt of mediocre hires.
02:34What's been the one thing that Jerry is consummate with?
02:38He doesn't invest in coaches with authority.
02:42He doesn't invest in coaches that will take command of his own locker room.
02:47You want accountability by your players, Jerry?
02:50How do you walk in a locker room and you look at Brian Schottenheimer knowing he has no say over
02:57the locker room and that Jerry Jones has complete say over the locker room?
03:02How many owners have two radio shows a week in the city of Dallas and explains what's going on?
03:09Look, Jerry Jones has been the P.T. Barnum of the NFL.
03:15He's expanded the league's awareness, the brand.
03:19The Cowboys right now are the richest franchise in the entire world.
03:22There is no doubt as a businessman, Jerry Jones will always be the greatest businessman in NFL history.
03:30As a football man, he has been the worst general manager for 30 years.
03:37I've said this, the Jets have more playoff wins since 2000.
03:43The Arizona Cardinals have more playoff wins since 2000.
03:49The one consummate that you can blame when it comes to the Cowboys' lack of success is the owner.
03:56He is not a football man.
03:58And it is now, without any other comments to be made here, it's evident.
04:07Name me one thing that he has done since Jerry had Jimmy and Jimmy Johnson built that roster.
04:14Yeah, they'll go, well, Barry Switzer was a doorman for that Cowboy team that won that Super Bowl.
04:21Those were all Jimmy's coaches.
04:23Those were all Jimmy's players.
04:26Every single one of those players that were put on that football team was by Coach Jimmy Johnson.
04:32And I'll say it again about how that team is being run.
04:36Look, Jerry and the family, they have done so many remarkable things for that Cowboy brand.
04:42But as a football brand, if you're a fan, there's no way you sit and look at that football team
04:49and know any coach that ever takes that job knows that they have any say in that locker room.
04:55I'll make the comment to you also at that job.
04:57That job is not a desirable job.
05:01How can you be a coach when you're not allowed to coach?
05:04He doesn't allow his coaches with any autonomy to take control of the most important thing that you can have
05:11in your locker room.
05:13That is the player's accountability.
05:17You've got to hold people to accountability.
05:21Jimmy used to put us all on the edges of our seats.
05:26He always did that.
05:28There was a sense of urgency in the building.
05:31You watch that thing with Dak Prescott after the game?
05:34Yeah, you know, it's kind of embarrassing.
05:36It's this and that.
05:38As Jerry Jones, as long as Jerry Jones is alive, Cowboys will never win.
