03:39Good evening, Trinidad and Tobago, our international audience,
03:42and of course, our brothers and sisters in Grenada.
03:45This is Beyond the Tape, and I'm your host, Whitney Husbands.
03:48Another day, another opportunity for us to learn and do better and understand
03:52how we could continue protecting ourselves when it comes to conducting business,
03:56the way we carry ourselves in the streets every single day, and also being aware.
04:01Of course, the TTPS is here to guide us accordingly and let us know more
04:04on ways that we could protect ourselves, ways to make ourselves harder targets out there
04:09where the criminal elements are sitting by trying to study us,
04:12the same way we are trying to study them along with the TTPS.
04:16And today, he holds a different hat, and we have to congratulate our brand new...
04:22I mean, the smile on your face alone says it all.
04:25I'm just saying, acting superintendent.
04:29Hey, listen, Officer Russell.
04:33Yes, husband.
04:34Should I...
04:34What am I supposed to do?
04:35Give a round of applause or shake your hand or salute?
04:38Congratulations.
04:39Let me say, all of a sudden, glory to God, you know.
04:41Yes.
04:41What did we say in passing, Trinidad and Tobago?
04:43It's about being, you know, just ready for that moment when you're called up.
04:47Let me say a good evening, Trinidad and Tobago.
04:52Tobago, especially Tobago.
04:53The love, the all-powering of love was really amazing.
04:58Our viewers in Grenada, our viewers in the islands, Canada, United States.
05:03Are you going on another vacation?
05:04No, I'm here with you all until, you know, I have no more vacation pending.
05:08I have nowhere to go.
05:10I am here with you all.
05:12And, Ms. Husbands, as the program now starts, let me just say thank you, thank you, thank you
05:17to the Commission of Police, the entire executive for the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service,
05:23Deputy Commissioner of Police, Ms. Tuzet Martin, Senior Soup Staff Officer, Mr. Arthur,
05:30Senior Superintendent Tobago, Mr. Roddell Kirk, ACP Ramissa, Head Corp Com, Mr. Archie,
05:39always out there filling in for me when I'm, you know.
05:43Ma'am, I thank you, I thank you, I thank you, I thank you.
05:46I thank every member of the Fire Service, every member of the Ministry of National Security,
05:51all the, all the medics, Tima, you know, all the persons who make it possible for the Tobago
06:00carnival to be a success.
06:01And I want to thank a lot of our viewers in Tobago, the all-powering of love I received
06:05from you all.
06:05I really, really appreciate it.
06:07I want to say good evening to Mr. Murray Shane, Elizabeth and Michael Neptune, Corporate
06:15Thomas of the Defense Force.
06:17I want to say special good evening to Mr. Stanley and the team from Comfort Inn on putting on
06:24a very good event and the events were well, you know, and I want to say, you know, well
06:30done Tobago, well done Tobago, well done Tobago, well done, well done, well done, all of them
06:36of the Defense Force, yeah?
06:38Yeah, it was, it was incident-free.
06:41Well done Tobago.
06:42The way in which the TTPs was present, I mean, it was, and I mean, I was able to experience
06:47it.
06:48Every corner you turn, every space that you could find or see, they were there, they were present,
06:56they were in the mix of everything, making sure persons felt safe, not just the masqueraders,
07:01but also the spectators, the vendors, the people who were just out and about being there
07:07to experience the Tobago Carnival.
07:08It was one that was, a job well done.
07:11Yes, and shout out to ACP Hazel as well.
07:14Yes.
07:14You know, he's at Tobago, and to the core, he's always there, supporting in every way possible
07:19and giving back in his capacity as Assistant Commissioner of Police.
07:23You know, so we want to say thank you, thank you, and we get ready for the Mecca.
07:28Thank you so much.
07:30And then we get ready for the Mecca.
07:31So, you know, we are here, Trinidad and Tobago, and we are just, you know, doing what we could
07:37do to make the place safer, to make sure you all have a great time, to make sure you all
07:40enjoy yourself.
07:42I'm not certain I'm still in numbers with respect to the customer satisfaction survey.
07:48I'm not sure if you're going to extend it or whatnot, but I'm still asking persons if
07:51you have the opportunity to fill it out, please.
07:53I tried to see you yesterday.
07:55And I appreciate that.
07:56And let us know how we could serve you better.
07:58All right.
07:59So let's dive straight into what's taking place.
08:01Now, this happened earlier today.
08:03There was heavy traffic, and it was along the westbound lane, along the Audrey Jeffers Highway
08:09as a result of a fatal RTA.
08:12Yeah, this was really sad.
08:15You know, again, we have been asking, I think, I believe we will never stop asking persons
08:24to understand the importance of taking your time.
08:28Yeah, definitely.
08:29And what I'm seeing, the guy hanging partly out of the trucks.
08:32I don't have all the facts.
08:34I don't know if the truck would have rolled over him, or the truck started to roll.
08:37I don't know what exactly happened.
08:39But I mean condolences to the family of the driver, his loved one, his friends, you know.
08:47Thanks to the fire service for all they're doing their due.
08:49Mm-hmm.
08:50You know, to really bring this matter to an end.
08:53Yeah.
08:53This is just, but he was pinned in the vehicle.
08:56Yeah, it appears that he was pinned in the vehicle, yeah.
08:58It appears.
08:59I mean, I'm sure we will get some sort of update because this happened earlier today.
09:04Yeah, definitely.
09:05To the family, families, loved ones, condolences to you all.
09:09Now, according to the Trinidad Express, a Lupino man beaten, stabbed to death outside Valencia gas station.
09:17Now, a 35-year-old Lupino man was beaten, stabbed to death following an altercation with a group of men
09:23at a Valencia gas station earlier yesterday morning.
09:27The deceased was identified as Fenwick Gibson of McDavid Street No. 3, Lupino.
09:33According to a police report, Gibson was at the gas station shortly after 3 a.m. when he became involved
09:41in an argument with a group of men.
09:44The men allegedly dealt him several blows before stabbing him in the neck.
09:48The report stated that the man subsequently placed Gibson in a white, open tree van and took him to the
09:55Arima General Hospital, where he was treated by a doctor.
09:58However, he was pronounced dead at 4.40 a.m.
10:02Police notified, or police were notified of the incident at about 5.48 a.m. by P.C. James of
10:10the Arima Police Station, who contacted officers at the Valencia Police Post.
10:18We're asking for assistance to help us with this.
10:21You know, usually, if you see something, say something.
10:24I mean, but we have to do better as well as a population.
10:29You know, we have to try to manage our anger, this sort of anger that we have, because we could
10:32jump up together.
10:34When it's sports, we could go in the overland and look at a CPL game.
10:37When it's football, we could go in the stadium.
10:39Why are we so aggressive to each other on another occasion?
10:42And I know local elections will be upon us soon as well.
10:45So we aim for quite a few activities for the officers of the CTPS and other apparatus of the Protective
10:51Service going forward.
10:53But going back a little bit to the fatal, we are asking anybody who may have any information as to
11:00identifying this person
11:01to call the Barataya Police Station, Inspector Murray, the Barataya Police Station, 612-2470, extensions, 75600, or 75603, or 75605,
11:17555-800-TIPS.
11:20So we are asking for your assistance.
11:22You know, publicly, I was asking for your assistance.
11:24You know, the people are the police and the police are the people.
11:27So we have to do this together.
11:29So I will continue to ask for your assistance, whether you give it to me or not.
11:33I prefer to give it to me.
11:35Just saying.
11:36Just saying.
11:36Now on the Sunday, there's a media release that you want to mention to the public that you could inform
11:42us on.
11:43That could be with respect to the persons being charged.
11:48$20,000 for three drinks of punching rum.
11:54Yes, $20,000 for three drinks of punching rum.
12:00Four motorists have been fined a combined total of $70,000 after pleading guilty to driving under the influence, in
12:07other words, a DUI,
12:09charges before Senior Magistrate Alicia Chanka at the Scarborough Magistrates Court on Tuesday, the 3rd of November, 2026.
12:17The men were among four motorists arrested during a coordinated police exercise under Operation Resonance Shield.
12:25On Friday, the 30th of October, 2026, following the stink and dirty vet at the parade grounds, Dwight York Stadium,
12:33Bacalette, Tobago.
12:34The exercise was conducted by officers of the Tobago Division, targeted traffic violations, and sought to maintain public safety and
12:44order during the Tobago Carnival 2026.
12:46The four motorists were stopped along the Claude-Noel Highway, Calder Hall, where they were subjected to breathalyzer tests.
12:53The readings ranged from 43 to 74 micrograms of alcohol per 100 milliliters of breath, exceeding the prescribed legal limit.
13:04When questioned by the magistrate about their alcohol consumption, the men disclosed that they had consumed varying quantities of alcohol
13:13beverages,
13:13including shots of punching rum and Olook white rum.
13:17One indicated that he consumed a drink offered by a friend.
13:20The motorist subsequently pleaded guilty of a fine as follows.
13:25Keegan Barrett, age 40, of Palm Avenue, California, $20,000, or two years' imprisonment.
13:32Shen Davidson, age 30, of Main Road, Lansomie, $15,000, or one year hard labor.
13:40Brandon Samuel, age 42, of Ontario, Canada, was fined $20,000, or two years' hard labor.
13:50Abayomi Hutchinson, age 28, of Chicago owners, was fined $15,000, or one year hard labor.
13:56The DIY charges were laid by P.C. Blackman, W.P.C. Walcott, P.C. Miller, and P.C. Crosby's,
14:02while P.C. Broom served as the breathalyzer technician.
14:04The suicide was conducted under the overall command of the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Operations Ms. Suzette Martin,
14:12with coordination by ACP Ramissa, Senior Superintendent Kirk, Superintendent Joseph, and Acting ASP Piggott.
14:21Operational supervision was provided by Acting ASP Piggott and Acting Sergeant Quamina,
14:25assisted by Corporal Vincent, with the support of officers of the Traffic and Highway Patrol Branch,
14:33Highway Task Force Tobago, Tobago Traffic Response Unit, Police Microwunit Team,
14:40and the officers of the Tobago Division.
14:42Some same persons, you know, you would have seen persons from all over.
14:46Trinidad, Tobago, as far as Canada.
14:48You know, when you come to have a good time, you want you to have a good time and do
14:52so,
14:52within the limits of the law.
14:54Of course.
14:54And not go out there and think, you know, a lot of persons have the opinion that it wouldn't happen
14:57to me,
14:58I wouldn't get catch, but what if, and I always ask that you do that role reversal
15:02and put yourself in the other person's shoe.
15:04What if your family sustained injuries from an accident caused by a drunk driver?
15:11Yeah.
15:12And I am hoping that persons understand the importance of when you're consuming alcohol,
15:17alcohol is not, you consume a little bit so you could drive.
15:20The person should not be drinking alcohol at all.
15:24And whoever is that, is a designated driver, that they are responsible to make sure you all reach home safely
15:30and understand the importance of, yes, your life, and also that it will be denting and licking away your pocket
15:37because $70,000 is a lot of money combined because you don't want to be going through this kind of
15:42stress.
15:43At this time, it's time for us to take a look at what's making today's headlines.

19:52the importance of attending.
19:54Now, the TTPS town meeting notice for the Northern North Division in the Maloney Police Station District is on November
20:014th at Building 18 and 19 Car Park, Maloney Gardens, Maloney, from 6 p.m.
20:07Let's talk.
20:08Let's build a safer community or communities together.
20:11So, if you're in that said district, we ask persons, please show up, attend, speak with your officers, know the
20:18officers in your district, and, of course, continue that conversation to make sure that your community is a safer place.
20:25We have to the phone lines.
20:26We have a caller.
20:27Caller, good evening.
20:28Pleasant good afternoon, Mr. Russell.
20:30Good evening to you, ma'am.
20:31Good evening, caller.
20:32Yes, I would like to say congratulations to Mr. Russell, a fellow from the RDC member of the family.
20:42He knows who it is.
20:43They both bless him and keep him with long-lighted and austerity, and he continues his powerful and wonderful job.
20:53We do save your guys.
20:55All my love, all my blessings.
20:57Thank you so much, ma'am.
20:58Thank you very much, ma'am.
20:59I appreciate it.
21:00Yes, most definitely.
21:01Now, I know we will be heading back to the phone line shortly.
21:05I would like to touch on something with a police-involved shooting that I know, you know, is raising that
21:10conversation.
21:11But let's head back to the phone lines.
21:13We have a caller.
21:13Caller, good evening.
21:15Oh, yes, my two blessed, favorite announcers.
21:18Good evening to you.
21:20Good evening, caller.
21:21Good evening, caller.
21:24Sir, I have witnessed some kind of fatal accident on natural terror that I hear from the east.
21:31And you will believe much now.
21:34Some accident, you will feel it fall from the sky, you know.
21:38But you pass all over the place.
21:40People pass all over the place because, you know, what's the job driving?
21:45And I'm happy.
21:47I'm happy in the government.
21:49I've done something about this alcohol drinking and driving and find it should be a hundred owners.
21:57Later, later, these drivers will learn the hard way, are happy.
22:02Because a man going with his family, right, on river limo, you know what I mean, some house party, you
22:10know what I mean, and some school of drugs.
22:13He's here in the whole family.
22:15Massively mandated.
22:17Drinking and driving.
22:18I don't want no way to me, sir.
22:20I will never drink alcohol.
22:21If you want to drink, stay home and drink.
22:24So not common people rule, and call, and call.
22:28How about this one's heard?
22:29Thank you, caller.
22:30Caller, you're so right.
22:31And I always tell persons, the designated driver is not the person that drank the lease.
22:36Yes, correct.
22:36The designated driver is not the person that drank the lease.
22:40It's the person that is not drinking at all.
22:43So we really need to manage that.
22:44And, you know, we have to be our brother's keeper because I don't understand how you're liming, you're liming groups
22:50or we're liming with friends.
22:51How do we really liming by ourselves?
22:53Yes.
22:53And you're seeing somebody having too much and you're not saying, hey, I think that's enough, you know.
22:57That's just stop, yes.
22:57Where is this camaraderie?
22:59Where is this love for each other, being our brother's keeper?
23:01You know, you allow that person to drink themselves to that extent and still let them get behind the wheels.
23:06You know, so we really have to really think and really, you know, how we want to really see ourselves
23:12and how much love and care we want to care for each other.
23:15Yeah, I saw where a lot of persons for the tobacco carnival events that they didn't understand the importance of
23:24when you're drinking alcohol and the heat is involved and it comes together, it's an explosion.
23:30Problems.
23:30And you cannot stand up.
23:32And I saw that the healthcare sector itself or the persons who are involved, the ambulance and persons, medical assistants,
23:41they were busy.
23:42Of course.
23:43Because many persons were passing out.
23:45Yeah.
23:45And not just saying it's alcohol alone because the heat was serious on one of the days.
23:50And there are persons who may have partook in these designer drugs, emolies, et cetera.
23:55Oh gosh, don't even go there.
23:57So there's a multitude, you know, a myriad of real things that persons are involved in that country, which is
24:05a particular situation.
24:06And when we see persons, I'm asking persons to have good, clean fun, you know what I mean?
24:10You want to remember what happened yesterday.
24:12Yeah, boy, how much, boy?
24:12You don't want yesterday's a blur.
24:13You passed all that in an aunt's nest.
24:15You have no clue, you know.
24:16Yes, crazy.
24:17We have another call.
24:18Caller, good evening.
24:21Hello?
24:22Hello.
24:23Hi, good evening.
24:24Good evening, caller.
24:25Good evening, with me.
24:26Good evening to you, sir.
24:28And good evening, sir, with Russell.
24:30Good evening, sir.
24:32And I was just checking you here to put on someone.
24:35I find it a person strange that the incidental financier, the financier police station is so
24:43very close to that gas station.
24:46So the, the, I don't know, maybe the police station, I wouldn't ask if, they couldn't hear
24:51the, why don't they, depending on the bar to the police station, see that information.
24:57And it's still okay.
24:58Yeah.
25:01Caller, you're speaking about the, um, incident.
25:03The beating and the stabbing in Valencia, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
25:07And you know, that, that, and you're right, eh?
25:10That, and that area is really a kind of alignment hub.
25:12Yeah, it's busy.
25:13The gas station and quite a few bars, um, in that location.
25:17So I really, um, perplexed.
25:22Nobody was there?
25:23As to where was the officers, you know, why we couldn't have responded sooner.
25:26Um, in every police station, you're supposed to have an officer present?
25:33Of, of course.
25:35I'm just asking.
25:35No, no, no, no, no.
25:36Like, if they're out and they're busy.
25:38But really, we're actually, we're really supposed to have our station sent, she posted as well.
25:41Who would be out there, in and around the compounds, the security compound of the police station.
25:46Um, and that person had it, you know, I'm not certain if one was posted or otherwise, but that would
25:50have been the first person to see, excuse, something developing, um, across the street and could have alerted his colleagues.
25:57So he could have intercepted earlier and really, um, you know, prevent this death.
26:02But I'm sure you may give us an update with regards to that situation and what transpired, why they had
26:07to go to another, um, police station on the Valencia, which is literally next door.
26:11We need to take that break.
26:12We'll be back.
26:15As a teacher teaching how much years I never see if I have a subject called bullying on a timetable
26:22yet.
26:22But all them children want to beat up other children instead of beating their buck.
26:29And to me, that is big, big failure.
26:32I promise to do my part to stop the bullying in the people at them school.
26:38But you see parents, you see uncles, you see grannies, you see aunties, you see nenens, all of them.
26:45And all of you, all you have to help out too.
26:48All you have to teach them the right way, boy.
26:51They have to choose peace, not physical and verbal violence.
26:57Teach them to be a body, not a bully.
27:02Tell somebody.

30:18And we are back,
30:20and of course,
30:20if you're now joining us,
30:21we have acting superintendent with us.
30:24Yes.
30:25Mr. Russell.
30:26You don't wonder who else is that.
30:28Who is that person I'm mentioning?
30:30Yep.
30:31New rank.
30:31And of course,
30:32we congratulate you.
30:33Always happy to see you move up.
30:34Of course.
30:35You know,
30:36it's been far too long.
30:37You know,
30:37we need to make the court matters,
30:39but that has since been completed in the court.
30:42So,
30:42you know,
30:42we'll have to do over the process.
30:44But,
30:44you know,
30:46I'm a person who tries to focus on the positives in life
30:48and not the negatives.
30:49You know,
30:49so many times,
30:50we are out there.
30:50We focus on things that we don't have
30:52instead of focusing on the things that we have
30:55and what the God,
30:55what the good Lord has blessed us with.
30:56So,
30:57I am,
30:58whoever is your creator,
30:59your higher being,
31:00whoever you regard in that realm,
31:03I am always thankful.
31:06And,
31:06you know,
31:07I take it.
31:07I'm proud of you.
31:08Take it and I'm reaching.
31:10And,
31:10you know,
31:10what I want to do is remain humble.
31:13I don't want to say don't pass me straight.
31:14Remain grounded.
31:15Don't pass me straight when you start to reach
31:17with an executive level.
31:17My husband,
31:18you know,
31:19I am not that kind of person.
31:21Like I said,
31:21I always tell persons I come from humble beginnings.
31:24Eastern Corrie,
31:25Dan Kelly.
31:26And every person that stopped to talk to me,
31:28I stopped.
31:29Every person that asked for a picture,
31:30asked for a selfie,
31:31every person that waved,
31:32every person that engaged me in conversation,
31:36I do stop.
31:37I mean,
31:37some of them,
31:37they,
31:38a bit little disrespectful at times.
31:40I was in the bank last week
31:41and a guy walked up to me just like that.
31:43I said,
31:43watch a show.
31:44Nobody's lied too much.
31:46You know,
31:46and,
31:47and,
31:47and,
31:47you know,
31:47and I find,
31:48and I want to ask him,
31:49I say,
31:50what was I lying about though?
31:52You know,
31:52he couldn't say.
31:53Just don't like me before my head.
31:55It's just,
31:55it's just his opinion.
31:56I'm lying too much.
31:56And I,
31:57I don't know.
31:58Yeah.
31:58But you know what?
31:59There are other persons that support
32:00and other persons that appreciate
32:01what you and I do,
32:02Mr.
32:03Husband.
32:03You know,
32:04we thank them for that.
32:05We thank them for viewing.
32:06I know,
32:07I know some of you
32:07may have recognized
32:08I'm not a hundred today,
32:09but I am here
32:11to do what I have to do.
32:13You can have all this muscle
32:14for nothing,
32:14you know.
32:15We have a call.
32:16Caller,
32:16good evening.
32:18Hello.
32:21Hello.
32:22Hello,
32:22good evening.
32:23Hi,
32:23good evening.
32:23Hi,
32:23good evening,
32:23caller.
32:25With me,
32:27I'm Mr. Russell.
32:28How are you going, sir?
32:30Let's question directly to Mr. Russell.
32:33I think it's time
32:35we have a
32:37updated police station
32:39so I have a designated leader
32:41in every station.
32:43Someone that commands the authority
32:45and everybody in the station.
32:47And if you have to
32:48if you have to
32:49if you have to
32:49you have to
32:50you have to
32:51I find it's too much nonsense.
32:55This one
32:55don't know
32:55what this one's doing.
32:57And
32:58it goes back
32:59to each other
33:01that has the authority
33:04to make proper decision
33:06so if too much time
33:07the public is being felt
33:09in the system
33:11and it's not fair.
33:16I think it's gone.
33:17Okay.
33:18Yes.
33:18I hear you on that caller.
33:20My apologies.
33:22Superintendent.
33:23It's
33:24it's
33:24the inspector of the station
33:25is the person
33:26who was tasked
33:26with that responsibility
33:31it's how we
33:32he or she
33:33executes that responsibility.
33:34But we do have ranks.
33:35We have corporates
33:36to supervise the constables
33:37and sergeants
33:38to supervise the corporates
33:39and inspector
33:40to supervise the sergeants
33:41going down.
33:43You know
33:43it's a ranked
33:44it's a hierarchical structure
33:45ranked
33:45a paramilitary structure
33:47where everybody's
33:48accountable to somebody.
33:49So it speaks
33:50to our supervision skills
33:51which I know
33:52we are trying to improve.
33:53you know
33:54then to resume
33:54we ask you
33:55to follow the public
33:56satisfaction survey
33:57so we can see
33:58what you already think.
33:59So you know
33:59I hear you call
34:00and you are indeed correct.
34:01Yeah.
34:02Alright we just have

39:00and we are back we are back to the full nine to remember you can give us a call
39:03at 623 17 11 extension 1996 on 1997 we have a call a call a good evening
39:33almost every day the police passed on that street almost up to the main road that's the road coming from
39:43the
39:44monico around the mobile fire station there and even when you're trying to enter the street
39:51sometimes you have to reverse your penalty visa coming and this afternoon again i my driver was
40:00coming out from that street and we were heading towards the roundabout now and a vehicle almost
40:07occurred because you have to come out into the road to see the traffic coming into san san mario
40:14there is those vehicles are packed almost up to the edge of the road and that has been going on
40:20a long
40:21long time so could that be kept please all right thank you so much ma'am no problem caller um
40:29a lot
40:29of the times you see me parking and the police park uh vehicles on the road because our compounds
40:34uh you know they just did not call an effect right because i'm certain of the persons who know that
40:39they have crashed vehicles in the station come and retrieve the items and nobody has space to
40:45pack the vehicles but i told you what to do thank you and i will definitely reach out to the
40:49um
40:50inspector in charge or maybe the head of the division and see how best we can rectify that situation
40:55remember to tell you what you all could do taking up all your space we have another call
41:00caller good evening good evening good evening
41:05caller um i want to um direct my um thank you mr russell okay yeah all right mr russell there
41:18is a place
41:19on the free note which is how you have center right where there is um uh where people take old
41:29people
41:30most of the time still to go and do their little exercises and so on now you know when you
41:38put it out
41:38of the place these people have put some little bricks to stop people going parking and where the people are
41:54and they can't stay when they remove the bricks and people are parking there so anybody could come out
42:12now and there is a calm state when they remove the bricks and people are parking there so anybody could
42:15move the bricks so i'm asking that you um if it's possible to get them to the central police station
42:24and ask them to put back the bricks because i'll tell you i am i am one of the people
42:30that take my
42:31right there and it is a lot of trouble getting them out to the people's place and they put those
42:37bricks there for a reason
42:48and i don't know what's going on and i don't know what's going on and i don't know what the
42:56response was
42:57oh wait until the scholar could you repeat you asked about the speaker speed guns yes
43:05or some of the speed guns and um i can't remember what your response was but the situation to me
43:14has gotten worse as far as people speeding up and going in front of those two hospitals okay
43:21and uh
43:26um that he was in charge of that place um that area and he will speak and do something about
43:34it but
43:34i thought who was superintendent i don't know what to say anyway thank you for listening yes and those are
43:42the two complaints that i have um
43:45this evening thank you so much sir thank you
43:50no no let me address a few things right now i hear you speaking about the bricks right
43:54and i i know you said the police came and moved but
43:58policing is so difficult at times because we may have received another complaint as well
44:04as to why the person who put the bricks in at the pretty bricks
44:07because maybe causing some kind of obstruction to their property or their development or some reason
44:12why too because i don't know um who has the authority because the roads are the roads belong to the
44:20government so i don't know who think that they have the authority to come and just arrest down
44:25bricks on the road to prevent someone and stuff like that maybe they should have some sort of dialogue
44:31to see if we could have some sort of police presence but but but but persons just can't come and
44:36express down bricks on the road either it's like sometimes i see some businessmen some businessmen
44:41just putting out cones and you don't block any part you don't own the streets it's like what you do
44:46not own the streets so they're just putting down cones because you're you know i i need a spot you
44:51may have a delivery coming or whatnot but this whole just putting on cones because you want the spot and
44:56thing we that is something that you cannot do because you have not 30 with respect to the streets the
45:01streets belong to the government yes yeah um with respect to the speed guns yes we do have speed guns
45:08um i know coming up we will have some more you will definitely see an increase in speed exercises
45:13because we know the favorite time coming christmas the carnival and i want persons to take note with
45:21respect to the ddd y we will have an increase for them respect to the ui task force so for
45:26those who
45:27are going to the christmas parties dinners various functions i'm asking you to have a designated driver
45:33or consume your alcohol responsibly we want you to live to see next year and we know it's space we
45:40are
45:40asking to pace yourself because we are going from christmas straight into a short season carnival
45:46i'm asking there's a new song that i heard today um about persons that they don't spend all the money
45:55to jump up in the carnival i'm asking for wisdom christmas going to carnival well i mean the place is
46:02really tight it is harder than bangles seed but i don't know how we're supposed to be spending money so
46:10freely what i recognize eh trinidad and tobago we are a society that find the money to do what we
46:16want to do you know yeah but not as wrong when you look at the sister aisle some a lot
46:24of us didn't
46:24swim there some persons found money to pay for place to stay the wood trip the airline tickets sign
46:30up the vehicle the rental the groceries etc the events the outfits so we are a society that find
46:35money to do what we want to do we may not do um we do less but we prioritize what
46:40we want to do so
