00:01Well, Cybersecurity NSW has now revealed that the website which was hacked last week was an oral health fee for
00:11service scheme website on the NSW Health website now.
00:15There is no patient data reportedly kept on that website and it's actually a website which is used for people
00:23to go on and get vouchers to dental services close to their homes.
00:29NSW Health as well as the Health Minister has been adamant today that no NSW Health patients details have been
00:39accessed.
00:40Let's take a listen to what the Health Minister Ryan Park had to say earlier this morning.
00:45There's no clinical risk or clinical service that has been compromised in terms of any future risk but this is
00:53an investigation.
00:54We will work through this. We will make sure that we keep the community and individuals updated as best we
01:01can but we have to do that knowing that we're going through a police investigation so that can be challenging.
01:07NSW Police's Cybercrime Squad is leading the investigation into this hacking and they say there's a number of lines of
01:15inquiry looking into who is responsible for this.
01:19They're pretty sure that it isn't artificial intelligence which is responsible for this.
01:25They say they've seen no features of AI used in this hacking but they did say in a press conference
01:33earlier today that the hacking has an international flavour to it.
01:38Let's take a listen to what NSW Police had to say.
01:41It's difficult to say at this time. Attribution is often key identifying those individuals who engage in this behaviour.
01:49It's very important that we're confident with our attribution.
01:52Now at this stage it's early in the investigation and it's difficult to say.
01:55There is an international element to this investigation though.
01:59It's obvious to us at this stage there's people that are outside of Australia.
02:04This is the second time this year that an Australian government website has been hacked.
02:10In June a rogue AI bot hacked into the Services Australia website but the Prime Minister Anthony Albanese was only
02:18made aware of that last month by OpenAI.
