00:09To quickly create a pipe network made up of pipes and bends using an existing line or alignment.
00:18Silver3D will automatically add in the appropriate joints when the line or alignment changes direction.
00:26The red lines in the drawing represent the back of curve from the proposed rows and we are going to
00:32use this as a guide for where to lay our pipes.
00:36We are going to select the kerb line of McAllister Boulevard and offset it 6ft by typing offset and then
00:45entering in the distance.
00:47We then select a side.
00:49Now we have the proposed layout for our network.
00:53We can then use these lines to create the pipes.
00:57To do this we can right click on pressure networks within the Prospector tab and select create pressure pipe networks
01:05from objects.
01:08We can then select the offset polyline and press enter to accept the network direction.
01:15We could reverse the direction if we wanted.
01:19We can then enter a network name.
01:23Select our parts list.
01:27Select a pipe size.
01:31And select the reference surface.
01:34We can then choose a cover distance which will be the distance from the top of the pipe to the
01:40ground surface.
01:43Alternatively, we could use vertex elevations and choose which part of the pipe the polyline represents.
01:51We are then going to tick on erase existing entity which will delete the polyline.
01:58And then we click OK.
02:01If we now zoom in we can see that Sybil 3D has created the network for us and has added
02:08in elbow joints.
02:09I can see.
02:09We are coming back.
02:09We are going back to the center of this where you can see the node size.
02:09Let's see.
