00:12My name is Jeremy Perlow. I have a background in commodities for the last 40 years. I'm
00:19a branch manager at Sweet Futures, a broker at Hedging Markets, and a partner at Sweet
00:28Futures Direct. I have a background in trading and computer science.
00:40Mini blinds installer. Go into a large high-rise, and we'd go floor-by-floor installing blinds on
00:47the windows. I guess that would be my background in computers.
01:05Every morning, I walked into a room with 10,000 people in one room and stood shoulder-to-shoulder
01:13amongst the crowd and had to deal with people coming and going all the time. For every three
01:25people that managed to last three years, 1,000 people would leave the industry in the three years.
01:35Usually, well, were they new? Were they old? If they were old traders, we would discuss the
01:45matters. If they were new, most likely they did not know the ropes or the rules, and they
01:53would be usually advised or recommended or reprimanded. It depended on what the individual did.
02:06I would say the honor code. Your word is your bond.
02:15Honesty.
