00:00We got a big story with a lot of tentacles to cover right now, opening up.
00:04Conor McGregor, okay, so he's basically being accused by his former training partner, Artem Lobov.
00:12Let me give you a little bit of context to the relationship.
00:14When Conor McGregor was coming up, Artem, who's of Russian descent, moved to Ireland, trained with him.
00:20He was his training partner right now in combat sports.
00:22To have a training partner that you can spark confidently, you guys get close, is very important.
00:26He's going to be a guy that is as good as you, that puts you to the test, but he's
00:29not going to hurt you.
00:30So they became very close, and then when Conor McGregor got in the UFC, he actually made, he paved the
00:35way for Artem, who didn't have the best record in the MMA.
00:38He was 11-11, wasn't a big prospect, but he got Artem signed to the UFC, he supported him.
00:44Artem didn't do very well in the UFC.
00:46He was a homie to him.
00:47Yeah, and so he was basically out of the UFC in three fights.
00:50Now, they have a falling out, and it stems because Artem Lobov is claiming that he helped negotiate a contract
00:59for Conor McGregor to start his whiskey called Proper 12.
01:02Proper number 12, yes.
01:03Which Conor McGregor then ended up selling supposedly for $750 million.
01:07Artem Lobov said that he has been paid $0 for helping him get this amazing deal, that he was promised
01:13money.
01:14He didn't get any of it.
01:15And he's also then claiming, but now all, as they're saying, the beans are being spilled.
01:21He's saying that Conor McGregor's manager, Artie, Audi, God, I forget the guy's last name, but it's Audi.
01:28Let me look this up.
01:29Basically, the guy that he's head of Paradigm Sports.
01:32Correct.
01:32That he actually stole a bunch of money from Conor, and Conor doesn't know because Conor's been on drugs.
01:38He started also saying that Conor's basically a drug-addicted junkie.
01:41Possible.
01:42That Conor has not only not paid Artem for what he is due, that Conor didn't pay his trainer, the
01:50head of SBG Sports, and that straight blast fighting, basically, the trainer is due 5% of the fighter's purse.
01:59That's the agreement.
02:00When Conor fought Mayweather, Conor made $100 million, and he only paid his trainer $100 grand, even though he was
02:05supposed to give him $5 million.
02:07So, Artem is saying all these things, and he's saying it's because Conor is drinking and doing cocaine all the
02:12time.
02:13Yeah.
02:13So, we know that Conor also has, you know, allegations that he's fighting off of previous misconduct with women.
02:20So, is Conor McGregor's empire collapsing around him?
02:23I think karma is a powerful thing, my friend.
02:27And he will cut up to you, and Conor McGregor has exhausted the goodwill of people around him.
02:32Yeah.
02:33But it's part of the character that he built for himself, and at some point made him so successful, right?
02:37Like this boisterous, braggadocious persona that allowed him to have the media success that he had, to have that aura
02:48of the special one, right?
02:50For many, many years, but once you get like me, old, and you start buckling on the knees mid-fight.
02:57That was a hard, so the acidity was hard to watch, especially since he was planning that.
03:00But I don't understand, you know, as a fighter gets older, they should be relying more on mechanics and not
03:07doing wild swings, right?
03:08So, the fact that he opens up with this crazy kick that he has to land on, I mean, I
03:12wouldn't be afraid to...
03:13Yeah, and only the other day here in Latinx and sports, and you told me how to go.
03:17And your knee almost came out.
03:18Say hi to Maritza, because she, I don't know if you guys saw the final show, she did quite a
03:22job to my own castatus there.
03:24I think that we're going to have to bring back the skateboard so that you, Ali, so that we see
03:27where you're...
03:28People know here that I landed too, like that before.
03:32And then the other one was just pure theatrics.
03:34Now, so, going back to the Conor thing.
03:37Yes.
03:37When he had this big success, I think it all started falling apart once he took the Mayweather fight, and
03:41he made all this money.
03:42You know, they say, when it comes to fighting, a famous boxer once said, once you start sleeping in silk
03:46sheets, you don't want to get up at 5 o'clock in the morning to go run and get hit
03:49in the face.
03:50Yeah.
03:50So, Conor started partying.
03:52Now, we have footage of him.
03:53Who can blame them?
03:54A hundred percent.
03:54Like, if you already made the money, you already got out of the hood, why would you go in and
03:58then start getting bit off if you were already, like, set for life?
04:01So, he started partying, he started getting involved, and he became a promoter of bare-knuckle fighting, and he would
04:06do these promotional tours for bare-knuckle fighting where he was obviously inebriated, and he was obviously on cocaine.
04:11He's even admitted as much.
04:13So, the fact that his former training partner's coming out and basically calling him out for being a crappy husband
04:18and father, a crappy teammate, crappy to his management, accusing his management of also stealing from everybody around him, saying
04:25that he didn't pay a lot of his trainers, even though the guy's worth hundreds of millions of dollars.
04:30Let me ask you.
04:31Do you have a Conor McGregor impression for us?
04:36I'm Irish.
04:37I'm Conor McGregor.
04:38You know what I used to actually say Conor, like, in my head, because I think I saw Highlander, and
04:42I used to say McGregor, and in my head, Conor McGregor.
04:45Look, you know, I was a big fan of him.
04:46I'd sad to see his demise.
04:49Yes.
04:49Because he was so talented, and I think he still is.
04:51One other thing, we'll cap off, and then we'll move on to other things.
04:54But, you know, Conor McGregor is talking about his retirement fights, that he has one fight left on the UFC.
05:00Oh, I heard that it's a big one.
05:01And then after, well, we'll see.
05:03He has to come back from the knee.
05:04Yeah.
05:04He wants to fight for one last big fight in the UFC.
05:07He's going to be done with his contract, and then he wants to have his real retirement fight as a
05:11boxer fighting Canelo.
05:12Canelo, that's the one that I heard about.
05:14What Artem Lopov is alleging, he's saying that the last true fight that Conor had already happened, that right now,
05:20he's only fighting to keep up his habits.
05:23If you know what we're talking about.
05:24He's drunk.
05:25His little sugar-building habits.
05:26He's drunk.
