00:00Meanwhile, credit to the Lions last week.
00:02Wow, what a big win for them against the Vikings,
00:05playing the Vikings game and beating them at their own game.
00:08I did not see that happening.
00:09And so going into today, you got to make them big favorites against Miami
00:13because while Miami, let's keep it real, has done a great job covering spreads,
00:18a lot of these are backdoors, backdoors against Washington,
00:21backdoors against New England.
00:22And Miami was just thoroughly outplayed by New England
00:25in the second half of last week's game.
00:27But the fact that they kept it close to the first half
00:28gave them that opportunity to score late,
00:30and their ATS record, pretty solid overall.
00:33Joe, the Dolphins are not going to win more than another one or two games.
00:36I mean, we know that at this point.
00:37And by the way, the Lions are probably not as good as their record indicates too.
00:41But I suspect a beautiful weather today here in South Florida,
00:45maybe some points coming in this game, 50 and a half.
00:48I don't think that's all going to be Detroit.
00:49I think Miami's going to score some too.
00:52But boy, you know, watching the Dolphins in the second half of last week's game,
00:56I can't get behind them this week,
00:57but I'm not going to lay, you know, six and a half with Detroit either.
01:00And I wonder if last week's game for Detroit is a little bit of a residual to this week's game.
01:05I wonder about that too.
01:07So interesting game that I'll watch.
01:08It could be.
01:09And Jared Goff out there on the road, even in good weather,
01:11is still not the same guy as he is indoors.
01:13However, I do like his passing prop today on the over 261 and a half.
01:17There's only two weeks where he hasn't gone over that.
01:19Week one, which again, you can kind of throw out.
01:21And then last week against the Minnesota Vikings defense,
01:23and we know how ferocious and how aggressive that unit is.
01:26So I really like him working this week with a healthy Amon Ross St. Brown is going to play in
01:31this game.
01:31And also Jameson Williams, who's getting involved in a different way.
01:34You know, J-Mo has always been in the past that big play guy.
01:37But Drew Petsick is using him a little bit more in the red zone this year now.
01:40And all of a sudden, his role is starting to develop and change,
01:42which is great because he's becoming a little bit more reliable.
01:45The last three weeks, he has finished as a top 20 wide receiver.
01:47And the first couple weeks of the season, we had that same up and down struggle bus of J-Mo.
01:52So you start all your studs in this game.
01:54And on the flip side here of the Miami Dolphins, Ollie Gordon is a must start.
01:58I think Caleb Douglas is certainly in play as well.
02:00And if you're desperate for tight end help, maybe Dulcich also.
02:03But the Lions secondary got a little healthier last week.
02:06It showed up there.
02:07This is a good matchup for the Lions.
02:08They should win this one handily.
02:09But keep an eye out for Jared Goff to have a pretty good game in this one too.
