00:11they're starting to play better football right now.
00:13In fact, the Rams are four and a half point favorites at Washington, total of 47 and a half.
00:18Boy, the spot that I always hate is laying points on the road, Joe.
00:22But I think I'm going to get around to this one and doing it.
00:25I couldn't believe that I saw that the Commanders haven't won back-to-back games in two years.
00:28That's a stat that I can't deny.
00:30Washington coming off their win last week.
00:33I think I'm going to side on the Rams to continue to get things going here.
00:37And I think finally, it's not necessarily a buy-low spot for the Rams.
00:41But if the prognosticators were so far off, I mean, this was the Super Bowl favorite at the beginning of
00:47the season.
00:47They're starting to look like that over the last couple of weeks, I suspect.
00:51And I wonder if today's another one of those days.

00:55I don't care for West Coast teams traveling across the country, having to play in chillier weather, early game start,
01:03too, at the 1 p.m.
01:04I actually like the Commanders with the four and a half here to keep this one close.
01:07It would not shock me if they wanted outright either.
01:10I know Miles Garrett is returning for this game.
01:11But this offense still is trying to figure out what they are without Devontae Adams.
01:17They are running the football a little bit more.
01:19More Blake Corum means, you know, a little less Matthew Stafford and also a little less Kyron Williams as they
01:25continue to split carries between these guys now and a little bit different of a look.
01:29And Washington, look, Antonio Williams stepped up in that void without Terry McLaurin.
01:33I think this is also a team that could be in the market if they win this game and pull
01:36a rabbit out of their hat to say, hey, can we do anything to bolster this running game?
01:40That's a problem for us right now.
01:41So I wouldn't sleep on the Commanders.
01:43Also, in this division that, once again, nobody seems to want to win.
01:47This is another default division, I feel like, in the NFC.
01:49And I think that's why you saw the aggressiveness by a team like the Chicago Bears a couple weeks ago
01:54attaining a guy like Simmons.
01:57Because I think that you're looking at it right now, if you're the Chicago Bears and say, why not us?
02:01You know, especially when they go out there against Seattle and win a big game on the road in Seattle's
02:06building against that defense.
02:07That's a big confidence builder right now for the Bears.
02:10It's hard not to look at the Bears and say, are they really the class potential of the NFC with
02:13the way that offense is running?
02:14Even if they can just be, I think, mid-level on defense.
02:18So going back to the Rams, I'm not confident in them this year.
02:21I'm not confident in them on the road, in the early game slot with all that travel.
02:25So you're certainly right.
02:27The Rams on paper should win this game.
02:29That's what the line should be.
02:30But my confidence in the Rams have just been shaken this year that I just can't get there.
