Rapper 50 Cent has hit the red carpet at the Sundance Film Festival and revealed his approach towards progressing in the film industry.

The American star said: "Someone said progress is a slow process but they weren't talking about me. They were talking about those other chumps."

The'Get Rich or Die Tryin, singer attended the festival with boxer Floyd Mayweather whom he hopes to work with on upcoming film projects.

The fledgling actor is currently working through a $200 million deal to make ten films under his Cheetah Vision Films company.

When discussing the direction of his projects, the Queen's born star said: "I like action films, to be honest with you. But they could be comedy action films or the darker side of some of the action films. The way you enjoy Training Day or Bad Boys."

50 Cent also revealed that he would love to work with Sylvester Stallone in upcoming projects.
