In the town of Kaduna in northern Nigeria at least 18 people have been killed in a suicide bomb attack. Its understood the bomber was trying to reach a church but was stopped.
An attack on Christmas Day last year which killed dozens was the work of Boko Haram. The group is loosely styled on Afghanistan's Taliban. Though not confirmed its believed they are behind the latest bombing.
