In the village of Rosières in southeast France Philippe and Véronique Alcalde grow vegetables and herbs and run a country hotel. She tends the garden while he runs the kitchen. Philippe prepares a "barigoule" which mainly has artichokes with a medley of other veggies that each have their own say on your palate.
