A massive mobilization by Colombia's campesinos is underway throughout the country, with protests planned through September 5. The peasant farmers charge that 70% of the agreements reached with the government since 2013 have not been fulfilled. The mobilization is sponsored by the Agrarian Summit, a coalition of campesino, indigenous, and Afro-descendant organizations. Social leaders say it is the lack of government attention to agriculture that is driving migration to Venezuela. Natalia Margarita reports from Bogota. teleSUR
