More than a million pounds has been spent to fight homelessness in Tonbridge and Malling.
The council have bought a house in Tonbridge town centre which will be converted into 6 flats for those who need to be rehoused.
Charities have welcomed the move which they say will stop rough sleepers being sent out of Kent.
