00:03 641 first pitch from Lone Depot Park.
00:05 Ranger Suarez on the mound for the Philadelphia Phillies.
00:08 Sandy Alcantara on the mound for the Miami Marlins.
00:10 The Marlins, a favorite here, minus 142 price,
00:13 a total that's listed at 7.5.
00:16 We'll see what happens at the deadline, but before that happens,
00:19 the Phillies and the Marlins getting after it today.
00:22 >> Listen, don't bury the lead, by the way, your boy, Tawad Walker,
00:26 that's now I believe the first Major League pitcher.
00:29 >> [LAUGH] Donny, we had said it yesterday, 15 and
00:34 6 when he takes the mound this year, now 16 and 6.
00:40 Whatever the reason, the Phillies win when that man pitches here.
00:44 Suarez has been a little up and down here.
00:48 The numbers are pretty good, hasn't really gotten a ton of run support when he has
00:52 hit the mound, but listen, Alcantara, they gotta stop the bleeding here.
00:56 Nobody knows what's gonna happen between now and the deadline, and
00:59 I think this is one of the early games, right?
01:01 Just after the trade deadline comes and it goes.
01:05 640 will be the first pitch here in Miami.
01:08 And yes, I do think that the Marlins, especially early, and
01:14 I like the matchup here in the first five for Alcantara.
01:18 I think he'll be able to limit the Phillies and what they can do.
01:21 They need a big effort for him like they did in Tampa last week.
01:26 I think they get it from him, but I'm not willing to back that bullpen yet.
01:30 So I'll go ahead and just back the Marlins early in this one in the first five.
