00:02 - So what do you anticipate the Guardians doing
00:05 on this deadline day?
00:07 - It probably feels like just some reorganizing
00:10 or restructuring.
00:12 They have to have some other pitcher to pitch
00:15 in August and September.
00:16 The Guardians, if you wanna put them in a class
00:19 above everybody else or close to it
00:21 as far as developing young pitching, you can do it.
00:24 I mean, it is obvious.
00:25 They just are a factory with that pitching lab
00:28 that they have just constantly bringing guys up
00:31 and having success.
00:32 But the problem is when you do that
00:34 at this stage of the game, Ben,
00:36 is that what is the reliability factor for them
00:38 in September as the innings pile up?
00:40 You know, teams have one rookie going or maybe two,
00:43 but Cleveland's got a bunch there.
00:45 So people wondered, why did they get Syndergaard?
00:48 What was the point of that?
00:49 It's like, this guy can throw five innings.
00:51 We'll take him and just run him out there
00:53 the rest of the season.
00:54 And so if they're gonna fight,
00:55 I think that's what they have to do.
00:57 And clearly, Minnesota, pretty fascinating too.
00:59 It feels like the twins are kinda like,
01:01 is Cleveland gonna do anything?
01:02 'Cause if not, we're probably better than them.
01:04 So we'll just chill.
01:06 I would think the twins have to try
01:08 to do something additionally
01:10 to sort of put their foot down on the pedal here.
01:12 But, you know, looking at the odds here on fan graphs,
01:15 they still seem to believe the twins
01:18 are the team to beat in that division.
