00:03 - Money, money, money, Rick.
00:04 And yesterday we saw a lot of money go around,
00:06 which included a five year,
00:08 $275 million extension for Joe Burrow.
00:12 We didn't hear any negotiation in the public.
00:14 And yet last night, just before kickoff,
00:16 we get the big deal that comes down.
00:18 Pressure burst pipes, as we like to say,
00:20 as those deadlines near.
00:21 Can you talk about what this means for the future
00:23 of the quarterback position with the amount of money
00:25 these guys are now being paid?
00:28 - Well, it means a lot to the agents
00:29 who represent the next set of contract negotiations.
00:33 And we all know who they are
00:34 and they're licking their chops, as we know.
00:36 You guys understand that.
00:38 But the bottom line of this too,
00:39 is that the Bengal Brown family pulled it off
00:44 in a very professional way.
00:45 They were quiet.
00:46 Joe Burrow's not gonna talk about it
00:48 'cause he knows it's coming.
00:49 And frankly, this was a legacy deal
00:52 that the Cincinnati Bengals could not afford
00:55 not to do at this point.
00:57 And so are they Superbowl favorites?
00:59 We hear about it.
01:00 Look at the money on this.
01:01 Joe Burrow is happy.
01:03 You gotta keep Joe Burrow happy
01:04 because now that keeps Cincinnati Bengals happy,
01:06 but more important, keeps the fans, the sweet holders,
01:10 the public sector folks, happy as well.
