00:00 In Palestine, the Israeli siege continues.
00:02 To date, more than 4,460 Palestinians have been killed in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank.
00:08 The Palestinian Health Ministry reported that 4,385 people died in the Gaza Strip
00:14 and more than 14,000 injured since the beginning of the aggravation on October 7.
00:19 Meanwhile, in the West Bank, Israeli forces killed 84 Palestinians and wounded more than 1,400.
00:26 70% of the dead are children, women and the elderly.
00:30 The Health Ministry warned that these figures could multiply in the coming hours
00:34 as the relentless Israeli attacks continue
00:37 and as bodies are pulled from under the rubble of their destroyed homes.
00:41 According to local media, during the ongoing bombardment of the Gaza Strip,
00:53 the Israeli occupying forces completely destroyed more than 14,000 homes,
00:58 while another 133,370 were partially damaged, including 10,127 which are no longer fit for living.
01:07 The destruction of 5,500 residential buildings, including 14,200 apartments, was also reported.
01:14 Among the affected infrastructure are also dozens of service facilities and 160 schools.
01:20 Also, the number of mosques completely destroyed by the occupation amounted to more than 17.
01:25 On early Saturday, at least 30 people, including three children, were killed in Israeli bombings.
01:33 Local sources say that the bombings targeted several areas in Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip.
01:38 Also in Rafah, six members of the civil defence team were seriously wounded
01:42 as a result of Israeli shelling on a civil defence headquarters.
01:47 On Saturday, the Rafah crossing, the border crossing between Gaza and Egypt,
01:51 through which humanitarian aid can be delivered to the Israeli-occupied Palestinian enclave, was opened.
01:56 Some 20 trucks carrying food and medical supplies, among other cargo, began passing through the crossing.
02:01 The humanitarian aid will be handed over to representatives of the Egyptian Red Crescent
02:05 for distribution to civilians in the Gaza Strip affected by the Israeli bombardment.
02:10 However, CNN correspondents on the Egyptian side of the border
02:13 say the Rafah crossing was closed shortly after the 20 vehicles filled with humanitarian aid for Palestinian civilians passed through.
02:19 Egypt's President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi said his country did not close the crossing
02:24 but that the Israeli shelling hindered the entry of aid into Gaza.
02:28 At the same time, Al Arabiya sources reported that Egyptian-U.S. coordination
02:33 is underway to evacuate foreign nationals from Gaza to Egypt through Rafah.
02:41 through Rafa.
