00:00 Tube drivers are voting yet again over possible strike action.
00:04 This comes after Sadiq Khan agreed to a £30m deal with the RMT to avoid a total shutdown
00:11 of London's underground this week.
00:13 Aslef, another union, told The Standard it has decided to re-ballot its 2,000 members
00:19 after they say Khan found a magic money tree to pay off the RMT.
00:24 If passed, the motion would give the union powers to call tube strikes at two weeks'
00:30 notice.
00:31 Members say they've lost all trust in Khan and warn his move has instantly backfired
00:35 and will likely lead to more strikes.
00:37 They're now calling for a 12% pay rise, a significant increase on the 5% offer they
00:43 accepted when TfL told them they didn't have the funds to pay more.
00:47 Khan so far has refused to reveal exactly how much taxpayers' cash he offered to the RMT.
