00:11for travelers from Mindanao and Palawan to East Asia.

00:20President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. approved the travel tax exemption
00:24for travelers from international airports and seaports in Mindanao and Palawan
00:29in particular to East Asian growth areas such as Brunei Darussalam, Indonesia, and Malaysia.
00:36Based on Memorandum Order No. 29 of the Palacio,
00:39the travel tax exemption will be implemented until June 30, 2028.
00:43This is to accelerate economic development in Mindanao and Palawan
00:47based on the recommendation of the Congress.
00:49Qualified passengers who have a confirmed connecting flight
00:54from Mindanao and Palawan to BIMP Iyaga within 24 hours
00:59can be obtained from the Tourism Infrastructure and Enterprise Zone Authority.
01:04The President also ordered the creation of the Presidential Office for Child Protection or POCP
01:09under Executive Order No. 67
01:11that will be placed under the Office of the President
01:14and led by the Presidential Advisory for Child Protection.
01:17This is under the supervision of the Special Assistant to the President.
01:20The new office will be located far away
01:23and will be assisted by government agencies
01:25for the protection of children and their rights,
01:29especially in cases of online sexual abuse or exploitation of children.
01:35Under Executive Order No. 66,
01:39the task force on Zero Hunger will be reorganized
01:42for the effective implementation of the Enhanced Partnership Against Hunger Program.
01:46Because of this, the task force will also be a member of
01:49the DOH, DILG, Local Governments, and Presidential Communications Office.
01:54The task force was given the power
01:56to determine the status of their offices
01:58authorized to decide on the status of their members.
02:02The task force was ordered to continue to implement
02:04the policies and projects of the government
02:07for the effective resolution of hunger in the country.
02:10President Marcos Jr. also approved the merger
02:13or joining of the United Coconut Planters Bank Leasing and Finance Corporation
02:17or ULFC
02:19and Land Bank of the Philippines Leasing and Finance Corporation or LLFC
02:23that he was appointed as a surviving entity.
02:26Under Executive Order No. 65,
02:28all assets and liabilities of the United Coconut Planters Bank will be transferred to the LBP
02:33as well as its ownership shares in the ULFC.
02:36The President also authorized the absorption of ULFC officials
02:40who will be affected by the Executive Order
02:42based on their service eligibility and other requirements.
