00:00Joseph Vijay offered to kiss his supporter if he climbed down from a dangerously high tower
00:10during his rally in Tamil Nadu's Erode district on December 18, 2025.
00:14When the supporter finally climbed down, Vijay responded with a flying kiss,
00:18drawing loud cheers from the crowd.
00:19Fondly called Thalupati by fans, Vijay was addressing a high-voltage rally in Erode,
00:24making his first public meeting in Tamil Nadu since the Karoor stampede in September 2025,
00:29which claimed 41 lives.
00:30The excitement was intense.
00:32One man even fainted and had to be rushed to a nearby hospital.
00:36More than 30,000 people had come to watch Thalupati speak.
00:39Some fans even ran behind Vijay's car, desperate for a glimpse.
00:42Vijay did not disappoint.
00:44He posted a selfie video capturing the roaring crowd waving and cheering for their favourite star-turned politician.
00:50But this rally was about more than spectacle.
00:52From Perrier's birthplace, Vijay launched a sharp political attack on the DMK,
00:56calling it an evil force and projecting Tamilgarh Vettri Kalagam as a clean alternative.
01:08He accused the DMK of fake promises and dishing out scams in Perrier's name and failing Tamil Nadu's farmers.
01:14The DMK hit back, dismissing Vijay as a leader with no ideology behind his ambition to become chief minister.
01:20Adding to the political symbolism, former AIA-DMK leader Sengotin joined TVK on stage,
01:26presenting Vijay with the Sengol, a symbol of authority and tradition.
01:30Vijay hinted that many more leaders could follow.
01:33TVK also released an AI-generated video of Vijay with Perrier.
01:36This electrifying rally comes just ahead of the release of Janna Nayagan, Vijay's so-called farewell film.
01:42With fan frenzy, fiery speeches and new leaders joining TVK, Vijay's erode rally has clearly set the tone for the 2026 Tamil Nadu Assembly elections.
01:50All eyes are now on how this momentum reshapes the political battle in the months ahead.
