00:33and rank him at 14th 14th now before I give my little two cents on why I think the man

00:42and snubbed I do need to highlight that 14th does make him the highest ranked Giants defender to ever
00:48appear on the list since it's come out and I'm not trying to instigate anything right here but I
00:55should note that coming in at 14 also broke the Giants defender record that was previously set
01:01by Dexter Lawrence who is at 17th last year I'm not trying to instigate like I said you can do

01:08you want with that information I just have the job to spit out the facts and the details but let's

01:15back to my my tiff 16 and a half sacks in New York on a defense that ranked 28th in
01:23the league in 2025
01:24and my opinion shouldn't penalize you it should elevate your value and your importance as an
01:32individual player you're one of 11 this isn't a team award it's not a team ranking this list highlights
01:40the individual's accomplishments production and impact not wins and losses not defensive ranking
01:49none of that so how did the individual it's it's basically how did the individual player impact the game
01:57weekend week out and my man terrorized for 17 weeks I personally think anywhere between 9 and 12 would have
02:08gave that man his flowers
02:10career high 16 and a half sacks 31 quarterback hits 22 tackles for loss three fours fumbles and he did
02:19all of that on the second worst run defense in the entire NFL's meaning teams didn't need to throw the
02:28football because it was 30 short for the majority of the time and I'm not trying to be a Brian
02:34Burns
02:35I feel like he is glazer here as I'm sure in the comments that's probably what y'all are saying
02:40but I need to see that man 13 to 9 on that list especially with who's left but you know
02:48what we got a new season coming up and I spoke to Brian Burns about what we can look for
02:53in Spider-Man in 2026 I really feel like we're gonna fuel the defense we're gonna lead the defense
02:59they're going to look at us to make those plays and you know me being the leader of that group
03:05along with Tibbs and Maine you know I definitely feel like the sky's the limit. He's the leader
03:10of that defense he's the the captain captain of that defense he's the one that's going to have
03:17the biggest impact week in week out but collectively this has to be the season where
03:23the Giants defense is so dominant that they land two plus players on that top 100 list
03:29next year of 2027. If the Giants take that step to the the next tier or the next level not
03:36only as a
03:37team but as a defense as well then they will have at least two to three players from that D
03:42on that
03:43list but Brian Burns at 14 in 2026 that's a slight snub.
