00:51feed in one room Tracy's stock has reportedly taken a hit after a couple
00:56of miscues in the preseason including that missed block where Jackson Dart got
01:01hit and he fumbled against Miami Friday's game is a real re-audition for Tracy
01:07specifically if he could bounce back I believe or we believe he's safe but
01:12another shaky rep and this could get uncomfortable for him at fullback you
01:17only need one Patrick Ricard he's rare you have never seen an old-fashioned
01:23traditional lead blocker nowadays but he's the guy and by the guy I mean he's
01:29the key to the 2026 Giants run game at wide receiver is where the drama gets
01:36interesting but we have them taking seven yes seven that's why we have them
01:41keeping only two quarterbacks Malik neighbors Darius Slayton Malachi Fields
01:46Darnell Mooney Odell Beckham Jr Braxton Berrios and Dalen Cambry now Tuesday's
01:53unfortunate knee injury to Calvin Austin the third who in our eyes had a spot
01:58locked up opened the door for OBJ and a Braxton Berrios Berrios will more than
02:04likely now be the primary returner and although OBJ doesn't play special teams and
02:10he had that costly drop against Miami but he's shown that he can stay healthy
02:15and even better the man shows that he still has some juice left in the tank he's
02:20in Cambry offers some special teams value at tight end we have them keeping three
02:26Isaiah Likely Theo Johnson and Chris Mannerts Isaiah Likely is the guy like the
02:33guy's guy like draft him on fantasy type guy Theo Johnson is the TE too and Chris
02:39Mannerts was voted on to the team's leadership council by teammates that kind
02:44of stuff matters when it comes to cutting down to 53 players on the
02:50offensive line there's nine Andrew Thomas John Runyon Jr. John Michael Schmitz Jr.
02:57Francis CC Malanoa Jermaine Illuminor Marcus Bowe JC Davis Aaron Stinney and Brian Hudson
03:05Thomas Runyon, Schmitz, Mowanoa and Illuminor those are the starting five
03:11Bowe and Stinney they've been solid backups for the Giants and JC Davis is a
03:17kid that they don't just like they love he's earned himself a spot on this roster
03:23now offense of course they get all the headlines especially with the OBJ
03:27storyline but the Giants defense has been completely reshaped and revamped and
03:34re-energized all the reasons you can think of this offseason here's the
03:39defensive side of our 53-man projection on defensive line they keep four DJ
03:45Reader, Shelby Harris, Darius Alexander and Leku Foto now Reader and Harris they
03:52step in as the replacement for Dexter Lawrence you got to expect them or you
03:57need them to be stout against the run this year Alexander has the highest
04:02ceiling for growth in that room but he has to show that he's consistent when it
04:07comes to run stopping heading into year two at outside linebacker they're
04:12keeping four Brian Burns Abdul Carter Kayvon Thibodeau and Chauncey Goldston now
04:18this room is stacked in arguably the deepest position group on this entire
04:24roster Burns and Carter are the starters but it's still a four-man rotation Kayvon
04:29has handled running with the twos this training camp pretty well and I feel like
04:36K5 has a chip on his shoulder Goldston flash some real positional
04:40flexibility throughout the course of the summer especially when they've kicked
04:44them inside the line now at inside linebacker there's five they're keeping
04:49Tremaine Edmonds, Arvell Reese, Micah McFadden, Jack Kelly and Zaire Barnes no
04:57position on this roster was transformed more dramatically both Edmonds and Reese
05:04look and are built like defensive ends lining up at interior linebacker and that
05:11size and athleticism combo that is rare but don't sleep on Micah McFadden he's a
05:18proven starter and he's back healthy from the foot injury to provide some
05:22legitimate quality depth at cornerback they're keeping six CB's Paulson
05:29Adebo, Greg Newsome the second, Deontay Banks, Colton Hood, Drew Phillips and Art
05:36Green the Tay Banks revival story is the biggest headline coming out of this room
05:43it should be studied by the aliens most people wrote him off for dead but now
05:48he's not just making the final 53-man roster he's in the mix for some real
05:54playing time maybe even to be a starter but all eyes are on Adebo to show the
05:59league that he is a legit CB1 Colton Hood the rookie looks like he's gonna push
06:06for some early snaps as well at safety we have them keeping five Javon Holland
06:12Tyler Newbin our Darius Washington Jason Pinnock and Elijah Campbell Newbin and
06:19Holland have to be a top safety duo in this league this season the talent is there
06:25with Denard Wilson is DC the scheme is there it's on these two guys to go out
06:31there and take some respect Washington adds value as a player who can also
06:37kick inside and play some slot corner Jason Pinnock is back but worth watching
06:42the Giants could ultimately keep only four safeties and use that extra roster
06:48spot elsewhere on special teams at kicker Dominic Zavada the undrafted rookie out of
06:55Michigan has done everything asked of him to earn Harbaugh's trust he flat out
07:01beat out Ben Saul and he deserves it at punter Jordan Stout he's reunited with
07:07Harbaugh from their Baltimore days where he became one of the best in the league
07:12and I can see him keeping that going at long snapper to round out the 53 man
07:18roster Ben Mann the only time you talk about a long snapper is when he's done
