A protest was staged inside a Delhi police station following allegations of police refusal to register a First Information Report regarding pellet gun injuries sustained by a nineteen year old student during a previous demonstration. According to claims made at the sit-in, medical reports indicate over two hundred pellets inside the student's body, including three in the eye and others near the heart. It was alleged that police officials refused to file the complaint citing orders from higher authorities. Family members of the student were also present during the demonstration. In response, police sources stated that the complaint has been accepted and receiving has been provided, adding that the matter is under consideration before the court.
