00:25as economic and political discontent continues to grow.
00:29Activist Wissam Eskairi said even basic necessities have become scarce,
00:34feeling growing public anger.
00:36Tunisians are also facing shortages of some basic goods and medicines,
00:40alongside complaints over water and power cuts.
00:44The protest comes a month after a similar demonstration
00:47marking Syed's 2021 decision to dismiss the government and dissolve parliament.
00:52Critics say those moves undermine Tunisia's democratic gains
00:56while Syed insists they were necessary to tackle corruption and political paralysis.
