00:31In the Rajasabha, Minister of State for Home Affairs Nithyanand Rai said that the Kerala Assembly passed a resolution in

00:40urging the centre to bring a law to change the name of the state to Keralam.
00:44The Kerala government had forwarded a resolution passed by the State Assembly regarding the name change to the centre in
00:51June 2024.
00:53Subsequently, President Draupadi Murmu referred the bill to the state legislature for its views,
00:59following which the Assembly adopted a unanimous resolution agreeing with the bill.
