Can we all agree this is the dream neighborhood? When Nicole and her husband moved into a new neighborhood, the very first friend they made was their neighbor's dog, Pita. Dodo producer Tarang sat down with the family to learn how one pup's daily playdates ended up bringing an entire community together!

00:00This dog's ultimate power routine is knocking on her neighbor's door every day so she can come
00:04over and play. Oh, hi! Nicole, who lives here, of course, always lets her in. She told us that when
00:10she first moved into the neighborhood, Peeta was actually the first one to introduce herself to
00:14them. When we first moved into the neighborhood, we really didn't know anyone. Peeta was actually
00:18the first one to greet us in our new home. We let her in. She met our dog, Fia, and
00:22they became
00:23instant best friends. And of course, this meant we got to meet our neighbors as well. See you later!
00:27And if you're wondering what I'm wondering, don't worry. Peeta does not have to cross any roads.
00:32In fact, she lives right next door to them, and her dad's always watching her when she comes over
00:36for a play date. You're sad I kicked her buddy out. Anytime Peeta went home, Fia would look out the
00:40window. As she would go on walks with her dad, she started walking up to our front door and knocking
00:45on it. This has become such a normal part of their daily lives that Peeta made herself right at home.
00:51She loves to play in the backyard, hang out in the living room, and she even knows where the treats
00:55are. What do you think is in the pantry? Do you want a treat? But something unexpected started to
00:59happen. Peeta and Fia started making friends with every dog in the neighborhood. And Peeta taught
01:04those dogs how to trigger our doorbell and knock as well. And very quickly, Nicole and her husband's
01:09home became the new hangout spot for a whole pack of dogs that live in the neighborhood.
01:13We love to host dog block parties, and they love to play, wrestle, chase balls, play fetch.
01:19They all get to enjoy some treats. Our house has kind of become the cool place on the block where
01:24all the dogs love to play. Nicole and her family were once strangers in their new neighborhood.
01:29And what's so special about their daily routine visits from Peeta is that it brought a whole
01:33community together. Peeta is the glue to the community. We've become close with all the dog's
01:37owners. What started as a little knock on the door turned into a whole neighborhood finding each other.
