00:26just looked at me and said well if it's not a melanoma it's going to be and I
00:31took that fairly seriously and followed their direction their directions were
00:36get a doctor to have a look at this I did that that was on the Thursday I had a
00:41doctor look at it on the Monday by Wednesday he'd rang me and said he take
00:46he took a biopsy on Monday Wednesday afternoon he rang me and said it's a
00:51melanoma and it's a big one and you're on the table tomorrow so I was down back
00:56down in Tamworth from Inverell for an operation that took three hours elements
01:00of it that were unpleasant but what he did say after it was that it was the
01:04biggest melanoma he'd ever seen and I was feeling very excited about that I
01:08wanted to win somehow but anyway it they told me later on that if I hadn't had it
01:14out then I might not have made it to my next birthday which was about six months
01:19on from that inspection I think it's luck on my part that I got over my aversion to
01:25going anywhere near doctors and got over my own prejudices about those things and
01:32whatever fear I had about it it's not luck that I got into a good doctor that's
01:39that's the doctor skill that that got me out of it but I just I like people to get
01:45that message of if it's get to the doctor get it checked I wouldn't have gone
01:51except that it was a free trial here at Adquip or free medical clinic here at Adquip
01:58and that just seemed easy to me and I could do I was just walking along and
02:01just went and just veered in it it changed the course of my life
02:07I'm going to go away so that the doctor shot is saying that I want to go in here and
02:08check the doctor the doctor you know it had to call me to me and I don't know it's
02:08definitely make a good man to do it and I still don't know I can see anything
02:08or anything like that in the morning or things like that I'm going to say I know it
02:10is that I'm going to call you the doctor I'm going to call me and I'm going to call me
