Nepal is facing one of its darkest disasters as the death toll from the catastrophic Nepal-Tibet glacial flood rises to 469, with more than 1,300 people still missing on Day 3 of rescue operations. Around 700 foreign nationals are feared missing, including travelers from more than 30 countries. A glacial collapse unleashed a devastating surge of water, ice, mud and rocks, destroying villages, roads and bridges. Thousands of rescuers are searching by helicopter and on foot, while authorities warn the casualty and missing-person figures could rise as operations continue.
