A simple step-by-step look at how I cook Farm Express Sona Masuri rice in a pressure cooker.
In this video, I start by opening the 5 kg rice pack and showing the rice grains before cooking. I then measure one glass of rice, rinse it 3–4 times, and drain the water thoroughly.
The washed rice is transferred to a pressure cooker, followed by two glasses of water using the same measuring glass. The rice is then pressure cooked for four whistles. After turning off the flame, I allow the pressure to release naturally before opening the cooker.
The result is freshly cooked Sona Masuri rice, ready to serve with dal, curry, vegetables or your favourite Indian side dish.
