The Washington Commanders released their final 53 man roster yesterday. There weren’t very many surprising moves, but The Sports Junkies dove into their biggest takeaways at first glance. Did anything surprise you after seeing Washington’s roster for the first time?

01:05they had their roster cut down.
01:07All the teams cut their players
01:09and amongst the big names
01:12for the Washington Commanders,
01:14I don't think it's a huge surprise.
01:16Sam Hartman was cut finally.
01:19Nobody surprised by that.
01:19So he was here for a couple of seasons.
01:21I don't think there was one person
01:23that's breathing air
01:24that was surprised by that.
01:25And nobody's clamoring for Sam Hartman
01:28to still be on the roster.
01:29I don't think anybody's going to clamor
01:30for any of the guys who were cut.
01:31Yeah.
01:31In terms of the names,
01:33Van Jefferson was cut.
01:35So that was a veteran-wide receiver.
01:39We knew once they acquired Stefan Diggs
01:43that somebody was going to be cut
01:45who was a quality player.
01:47Van Jefferson's a quality player.
01:49You knew it was one of the two guys
01:50that was dressed for the game on Friday.
01:52It was either going to be McCaffrey
01:54or Van Jefferson
01:55who was going to be the last man standing.
01:57Jefferson gets cut.
01:59Trent Scott was cut.
02:02I don't know anybody else significant
02:04that you want to talk about.
02:05I guess the running backs were cut.
02:06Robert Henry was cut.
02:09I mean, again, like 15, 16 of these guys,
